Didn't play for long time pls suggest me a STR based build, melee or hybrid it doesn't matter.
10 Str, Juggernaut, Warrior, Berserker, Heavy Hitter. For other stats. Get Con to 7 or 8. Dex you want high too but with Berserker and a light weight melee weapon which doesn't demand much AP costs you can get away with low AP, not recommended though. I likes having lots of AP. Per you can get away with dumping. Just put one tag in melee skill and get warrior and perception implant - you can purchase from cole's gadgets. Build should see you through the whole game in one peace.
With melee focus char, which companions I should take? Should Faythe be melee focus or pistol or possibly something else?

Forgot to ask do you think berserker is a good idea? No cool staggering hits and such.

So by itself it's going to be a +1 damage, however, with additional bonuses of: Strength Implant, Juggernaut, Heavy Hitter (penetration is nice to have), and on top of the bonuses you'll be getting from your base Str. You're going to be hitting those delicious high damage thresholds with melee. Colony Ship's minimal bonuses don't look sexy by themselves, but when you stack them on top of each other, things get nuts.

If you get Utility Bar, or any other light weight weapon (weapons that have low AP costs basically), and spam fast attacks. You'll do lots of damage. Also you can still stagger. Heavy Hitter gives bonuses towards it. As do weapons as well. Losing aimed attacks doesn't prevent you from staggering enemies.

Also one very important bit. Faythe can use her guns to proc aimed attack effects. So you're not completely losing those either.

My GPU (GTX 1650) temperature gets up to 78 C temperature when playing this game. It's been 7 months since I got this computer so I doubt it's because it got old and needs maintance. Is this normal? I play on high settings btw.

Check VSYNC box in the game's setting. If that doesn't fix the problem, limit the framerate:

https://www.howtogeek.com/509097/how-to-set-a-maximum-frame-rate-in-nvidias-drivers/
Didn't work for some reason. I limited the framerate from ingame options, nvidia settings and windows monitor options in order while enabling vsync, yet didn't work :(

Edit:For some reason when I open the task manager while the game is up it gets more heat. I tried opening task manager as soon as I close the game,it shows around 62-65 C temperature. Not sure what causes that.

I don't think you can max crit, but you should still be able to reach some nice levels with Assassin perk + Appropriate feat + tag in critical + skill tokens + bloodlust. If you want to min maxx it a bit. In early game there's a turret you can farm skills on. It's part of thief quest with Jia. Have melee MC tank shots while Faythe hides behind MC, while popping out to shoot then falls back and so on. Or you can have Faythe eat shots to improve her evasion/armor skills too. There's also two thugs you can improve her skills on. They're next to your apartment. You can set up chokepoint where they'll focus on main character, making it easy to have Faythe shoot at them. Evan's first quest is another easy one to farm her skills on too. Oh yeah, there's a lone frog at hydroponics which Faythe can practice on.

Off the top my head those are the encounters I do in order to develop her skills. However, there's no exact way to consistently farm critical strike since its, well, random in its trigger. Anyways, in my opinion just having bloodlust helps so much. Here's an example:

^85 total CS is very, very good. Even though its an SMG build you can still reach about same values on rifle, I think. Also don't pick Master Blaster, I only picked it to see how much CS I can push.

I used Cheat Engine.
How did you add those feats?

how did you cheat?
One of our steam players over on the boards for Colony Ship wrote a guide for using Hex Editor to modify game files. See:

Hope it helps!
Thank you but hex editor is not my thing, I might give it a try later though.

I presume you mean the Heroic ones - I brute-forced it. I searched for ones, added a trait (so that the trait points would be 0), searched for a zero, removed a trait, searched for one and so on, until there was only one address left - then I changed it to twenty-something.

Use this power wisely.

Or don't, I don't give a fuck.

Yes I mean those. How do you even search for a trait? Did you add every other trait, somehow tried to search unadded ones after?

Cheat Engine searches for numbers. You select the process which cache you want to scan and type the number you're interested in. I searched for the number of trait points repeatedly (to filter other values "1" and "0") and when I had the address of the cell keeping the number of available trait points, I changed it to some high number and then selected the traits as normal.

Stuck at the robot fight. I once managed to beat them with using the energy rifle, several bombs including stasis and pulse to that strong turret in the middle but in the end Faythe just dies and I don't want that :negative:

Anything bellow 80ºC is completely safe.

Aim for the head to stagger it for -8AP. If you still have the energy rifle then use it.

Looks like a big nerf to players, specifically solo?
Well, one of the issues you get with high evasion builds is that it can avoid too much damage, it's kind of silly. It's not even that hard to break into 100+ evasion either. This is from a recent build (Not mine. Got it from the buildz thread):

Just stack as many evasion feats as you can. Also ya forget that it's also affecting enemies too. We haven't seen it yet though, but once we do go against 80-100 + evasion enemies the graze changes will make it more doable.

even as full evasion you level up armorer and can wear pieces that would nullify graze damage no?

I don't think you'll be able to nullify graze damage, unless you go all in on heavy armor, and light armor is kind of a joke compared to heavy. It also depends on how much penetration enemy will have.

Nullifying graze damage will be harder as well. Graze damage will be 25% after DR, rounded up, so it would have to be armor pieces that could block regular damage.
