Me and Absalom played.
It was a rather interesting game, with misplays from both sides and lots of excitement. The vamps also chose to not bloodlust a single time, which was rough. At least I'll have one guard piece from now on, should help a lot.

i dont even that game
when all your dodges fail in 4 or 5 consecutive turns (despite rerolls), when the enemy gets 2 perfect defences, and when everything is shit, you know you are in for a good game

As a quick aside, I'll just leave the link to the Orca Cola Bloodbowl league here, in case any of you are interested in playing more Bloodbowl and hadn't heard of it before: http://www.orca-cola.com/beta/index.php/index
As far as I'm aware it's the biggest (~250 teams) and best-organised persistent Bloodbowl league around - it has 6 or 7 tiers, each containing four divisions of ten teams with promotion and relegation each season, playing one game a week. I'm not affiliated with them but I put a dark elf team in there three seasons back and I've had a great time so far, so if any of you want more Bloodbowl beyond what you already have from your existing competition then it might be worth bearing the OCC in mind!
