To see Avellone praise this shows that figurehead creators are often clueless when it comes to their own games. Maybe he was just being nice to a rando on the internet but... nah, he should just stick to writing.

Avellone tends to be diplomatic and a "nice guy". Most likely he did not want to offend the creator.
The creator was an AI (with some guided prompting by a person). It looks impressive for an AI, not something I'd want to see in an actual game.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Yeah, that's the point, really. It's not spot on Fallout interpretation, but for something done by an AI, it is impressive.

I've seen some other crazy stuff out there.

I also bet he probably doesn't care too much about how accurate the contributions are, he is glad people are still interested in Fallout to make stuff for it.

Long ago, I remember listening to an interview he did and when the topic of party members came up, he spoke of how important it was for them to felatiate the player's ego through dialogue.

He applies that lesson well in life, since words cost him little but exponentially increase goodwill between himself and his fans. So, it was when he lauded the TSLRCM team after their mod released to such fanfare. Notice is its own currency, and other devs would do well to learn from him.

To be fair, the praise he gave to the creators of the TSLRCM is well deserved. That's why he is such a cool guy. He also gives praise and credit to the work and achievements of others, and remains humble at the same time.

It's been a long time since I touched vanilla, but I never thought it felt that unfinished. Better with TSLRCM but fine on its own as well. I've seen it said on certain forums that some of the default content was even altered/removed in TSLRCM because it no longer flowed properly/fit the narrative. Would be cool if someone did a comparison video between versions some time, but that would take quite a time commitment.

KOTOR 2's ending drops a lot of plot points but some of the stuff was cut because it just plain wasn't fun (the HK factory) and the restoration doesn't make it fun either.

pretty sure you mean M4-78, which isn't a part of TSLRCM because it's not cut content but scrapped content. HK factory was cut due to time constraints, which is why it is included.

Emperor Devon: TSL's trimmed deadline and subsequent cut content has made the game highly criticized. (Yes, you probably did know that. :P) What would you have done if you'd had those extra few months to work on it? Or if you'd had, through some mysterious and unknown means, unlimited time and funds?

Chris Avellone: What I would have done was finish Malachor V and Revan’s Telos-based HK-50 factory. The HK-50 factory was probably a more realistic goal, I probably could have finished that in two more days, but honestly, the tweaking of the cut scenes would have taken forever (which we discovered elsewhere in K2). I did think it would have been a cool series of levels that would really have let HK-47 shine, however, and there were some good comedic moments in there as well (well, if you find sadism funny).

The HK factory can be pretty nasty. Hopefully you equipped HK-47 with good armor and a powerful blaster like the Zersium Rifle(if you manage to find it,as all loot in Kotor 2 is level dependent and randomized) or the Mandalorian Heavy Repeater. Another great weapon is the Verpine Droid Disintegrator. It does Ion Damage, which means it bypasses shields and deals extra damage against droids(including those pesky HK-50s).
