You are the mentally changed here. What Name implied and I answered FIRST is exactly the same that you took 6 lines to answer AGAIN.

I don't feel sorry for you.

In case anyone else has any doubt: EA/Disney banning all contracts contracts with the likes of Obsidian = EA had the exclusivity deal in this context.

Also, fuck Disney in the ass. And EA, for good measure.

Challenge everything.

What he said was wrong, and all you said was "Seems so". You just edited your post afterwards. Nice job, retard.

I'm a poor reader, so was he saying that after he left, someone finally told him that EA/Disney had banned all contracts with the likes of Obsidian?

Seems so. Obsidian didn’t know it couldn’t do.

Disregard the idiot above.

I answered first because I'm more powerful in the FORCE. I'm so powerful I can edit my own posts.

MCA Interview in the newest Game Informer. I think it was the first time he talked about his departure sort of directly. Is it against the rules to share the text and/or link?
Share the link at least man.

It's not a very revealing answer (at least in regard to internal Obsidian stuff) but here's an excerpt (that's fair game, right?)

lol noob

They obviously knew about the exclusivity deal, they're not as stupid as you, I'm sure, he's just saying they wasted their time.
I'm not sure I agree with you here, doesn't that sentence implies that Obsidian pitched KOTOR 3 without realizing that it was a waste of time because they weren't aware of things like the exclusive deal with EA?

I wouldn't necessarily read that sentence as MCA saying that Obsidian wasted their time pitching games they couldn't make. He might just have said that to emphasize that his options were limited at Obsidian, even more limited than he knew at first. So if he ever wants to work on a new KOTOR game, he has to leave Obsidian. (in before MCA joins Bioware, mass suicide)

I'd be okay with MCA joining any company as long as he assumed total control over design and writing on his project (or at least as total as control can be at a large company). Him being simply a part of the team is good, but not good enough.

Can you imagine a game led by him and where he is given total creative control but has the budget of DAI? Damn, that would probably be best game ever!

Haha "creative director" was a bullshit title, no wonder Obsidian hasn't bothered to replace it.

For example, Beamdog's Siege of Dragonspear reminded me what the touchstones of fun companions should be (and what it takes to create a great adversary, not just a villain).

Sick burn. :neveraskedforthis:

I thought Captain was a man right until the end. Voghiln reminds me of Khelgar. M’Khiin seems like a riot (did goblins always look like gremlins?). I thought Glint was a woman right until the end (I wonder what his more subtle talents are? *crossdressing*).
