Yeah we just need a DeS remake now.
DeS is perfectly playable on emulator right now though (probably not very well with M+kb but still).

PC bloodborne is day 1 preorder for me for sure, unless there's some really weird circumstance like epic exclusivity.
To me, PC Bloodborne is a day 1 purchase even if I have to buy it from the ISIS store.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Remastering, with minimal changes to anything other than graphics.

The only exception would be to restore the sixth archstone.

No, sorry, not even close. Everybody was so enraged by the lazy cashgrab that the DS1 remaster was precisely because Bamco didn't fix the shit that needed to be fixed while wasting time and resources on improving crap nobody asked for, like textures and fancy new light effects.

If there was ever a game in need of a full remake it's DS1, with broken mechanics like chain backstab, reverse rolling or input queuing, with terrible UI, the general PvP jank and a host of major stuff like entire areas being either terrible or unfinished, the inability to invade or summon help in areas with dead bosses, the absence of respec, boring NG+ and more.

Demon's Souls is just as much in need of a proper remake as DS1. There are major gameplay ooofs that scream for fixing - broken magic, awful UI and inventory, the terrible world tendency system (great idea, awful execution), the healing system (the DS-style rechargeable flask is vastly superior to the DeS/BB system), the retarded weapon upgrade system, the unnecessarily arcane crystal lizard system, the armour/poise system needs a complete rework (preferably in the DS2 style), useless mechanics like poison or bleed, absence of jumping, terrible PvP and a host of other minor issues (weapon balance, enemy encounters, build variety etc.).

And also, to be perfectly honest, I love the DeS gimmicky bosses, it's a wonderful reprieve from the fast jumping knight archetype spam in DS3, but many of them need some serious updating or even a straight up overhaul because in this day and age they'd be seen as extremely janky and lulzy. Oh and while the music is conceptually excellent the execution is meme-worthy. It sounds like the composer only used an old Roland MIDI system. The soundtrack needs an orchestral rendition too.

So no, a simple DeS remaster would be just as a gigantic wasted opportunity as DSR was.

cvv, Bluepoint Games (SoC remake) and QLOC is working on Both Demon's Souls Remake and Bloodborne Remaster for PS5. Only BB is coming to PC as rumored.

The BB remaster has been p. much indirectly confirmed but afaik the DeS remaster is still just a rumour. Bluepoint is working on something but it can be a number of games from the PS2/PS3 era.

I've heard DeS remake like Shadow of Colossus was to be shown and PS5 conference on June 4th. It's fully redone with quality of life improvements.

https://www.dsogaming.com/news/new-...rs-hint-at-the-game-finally-coming-to-the-pc/

It appears that PC gamers may soon be able to play a FromSoftware game that came exclusively on PS4. This game is no other than Bloodborne, and numerous industry insiders hinted today at the game coming to the PC.

Now we’ve seen such this Bloodborne PC rumor appearing frequently in the past, though we never reported on it. However, this is the first time that the source – or in this case sources – is trustworthy.

The first hint came from Wario64 who claimed that PC gamers can wait a little longer to play Bloodborne on the PC, without the need of PS Now.

Then, Sloth Mom claimed that Bloodborne is indeed coming to the PC, and that its PC port will not disappoint its fans.

For those just joining me, yes Bloodborne *will* be coming to PC, I've had it confirmed by a very trusted source, and I have a lot of faith in the company who's doing the port, you won't be disappointed. It genuinely is happening.

why bother recreating an already existing game while changing it into something else entirely? You may as well just make a new game and leave the original be.

When someone says that something needs orchestral rendition you know hat this someone reached end of his life and someone has to help them go die with grace.

Alternatively it also might be someone who played and studied music for 6 years.

There is nothing more retarded that music student who thinks that because he studied music his opinion is actually worth more than some random dude from internet.

The same kind of retard who would switch Dragon Quest midi mastery for generic orchestra garbage. Or Terra theme which sounds orgasmic in midi to shitty orchestra version which sounds nothing like original because you can't emulate properly tune on some 18 century shitsticks.

Ace Attorney is also best example of how orchestra can't be used to arrange midi tracks. You just can't do it with Cornered because that midi "clang" is what makes it so good when various notes mash together. Anyone who would try to orchestrate it should be euthanized on the spot.

Well, if a piece of music is written with General MIDI in mind, then it's probably better to leave it as is (see the masterful tracks from Daggerfall etc.)

But if the initial idea was to use proper orchestral sound while cheapass options were chosen due to budget constraints, well, situation might be different

From what I read those Bloodborne PC rumours aren't credible, the source is a YT channel no one has ever heard of and none of the famous leakers/insiders have heard of this at all.
