Avian "beholder" from Siege of Shadowdale EE:

Ok, a malaugrym and not a beholder at all. But it is orb-shaped, has multiple eyes and tentacles.

The malaugrym are more akin to the grell, which first appeared in the Fiend Folio:

With any luck some of these will be ass cheap in the secondary market but you never can tell with Secret Lair. Softens the FOMO blow for me that most of these cards are useless outside a cube setting

I bought this one, the Sea Observer, for Waer We Na T which is a game that takes place in the Super Meta Ki Square, a square region that experiences a time anomaly, anything that gets in there gets stuck in a sort of time loop. The game mostly takes place in or around water. I have called the underwater Beholder a Seessea.
