Avian "beholder" from Siege of Shadowdale EE:

Ok, a malaugrym and not a beholder at all. But it is orb-shaped, has multiple eyes and tentacles.
The malaugrym are more akin to the grell, which first appeared in the Fiend Folio:

I bought this one, the Sea Observer, for Waer We Na T which is a game that takes place in the Super Meta Ki Square, a square region that experiences a time anomaly, anything that gets in there gets stuck in a sort of time loop. The game mostly takes place in or around water. I have called the underwater Beholder a Seessea.
