If beamdog choose to add new content to an existing classic RPG --> "OMG what are they doing profaning such a classic with their shitty new content and SJW agenda! Fucking bastards! *attachs the image of Todd howard and Peter hines raping vault boy*

If beamdog choose not to add new content to an existing classic RPG -> "OMG fucking lazy parasites just taking such a classic and adding HD enhancements to it, what a cashgrab! They can't even do a thing for themselves!" *attachs random RPG codex angry emoticon*

*Both responses receives brofists, agrees, inclines, despairs, retadreds and shits as equal*

Codex pls

They could be responses in a RPG game if you look at them with enough wisdom.

Both Icewind dale and PST are not Bioware games, which was the company Trent used to work for. You could try harder next time though.

I can't see the relation between what I wrote and what you said. If you are refering to the "SWJ agenda" part of the joke the reason I wrote that is because the antecedents of beamdog with their Baldur's gate EE and siege of decline expansion pack, and the initial hysteria about the PST:EE annoucement and the chances of new content/changed/censored content of the game (A concern that I personally referred a lot of times in the thread).

I will explain it with potatoes then

Trent=Bio employee
BG1+2=Bio games
IWD1+PST= Black Isle Studios, that is, not Bioware
Beamdog=thieves and hacks

It's almost as if you want to pay for mods.

Well, there are players on the Steam forum who whine about games when they actually don't include DRM, so I would say stupidity is basically bottomless

Explain me with potatoes what is the relation between that information that I already know and what I wrote in the dumb/joke post. I can answer for you. There's none. I never mentioned Bioware, neither Trent. In fact, I don't even know what the hell are we discussing about.

If you can't understand a simple concept like Beamdog being a company made out of thieves, then I can't help you. I guess since you're a Nintendo fan you're used to companies treating you like shit and you loving every second of it.

Game seems fine on first impression. My only gripes with the graphics are the lack of redone character portraits to fit with the higher resolution of the game. They are jarring as they are.

:retarded:

Beamdog being a company of rehash is something that I already knew before even writing anything in this thread. What I don't know is what the fuck has to do this information with all the shit I wrote before. But well, after reading that try of ad hominem fallacy that you wrote here at the end of your message, I guess I can't expect more of you. :M

I really hope you end up working in some place where creativity is your only tool only to have some faggot corporation take it away from you. Then you will learn what human beigns are made of.

Dunno what to say about Goral's crusade there, but it's funny how so many people seem to think the game is not on Steam.

The guy added P:T EE only to be the first, he knows perfctly well it is available on Steam.

As for my crusade, it started with Beamdog taking credit for something they hadn't done (removing Black Isle name from everywhere where mattered), then they've censored me on YouTube for mentioning that fact, then it turned out they will remove the original from GOG, then they've censored me on Steam. A parasitic firm like this shouldn't even exist, especially with their tendency to shove leftist propaganda down our throats. Sure, they haven't added any SJW shit this time but what will stop them from doing so in the future when they will release Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition Directors Cut version? In a few years only RPG Codex will remember that Beamdog were only modders and nothing will stand in their way to add shit like fags, trannies or whatever Gaider or some other Amber Scott will come up with.

Infinity Engine: Made by Bioware -used by Black Isle.

The whole thing is fucked, there are IP rights all over the place.

But, it's pointless to get annoyed here. No developer gets involved with Dungeons and Dragons, (or Marvel, DC etc) - without it being a passion project for the "Universe" and also understanding the source material does not belong to them, in any-way. They're basically renting it. No one questioned why Bioware/Obsidian were screwed over with Star Wars, they'd just roll their eyes and curse at LucasArts. You expected it from the beginning.

The In-house IPs were always more important (Ultima, Fallout etc).

Super Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition Directors Cut: The new challengers 12k edition

I'm convinced that if someday I work for a company that bought a license to make a game, I work in the game for them, I get paid for it, the game is released and gets instant praise and recognition as a classic and then 18 after another company pays for the license, releases a retouched version of the game which I worked on with the colaboration of one of my most important team companions, slaps their company's name in the cover as makers of that retouched version leaving the original credits where I get mentioned on inside of it and watchable since beginning, I would feel completely stolen, betrayed, profaned and dismissed. :troll:

Just look at this article on their main website: http://blog.beamdog.com/2017/04/planescape-torment-enhanced-edition-is.html?m=1

How dare to pay WOTC for making the game? How they dare to thank Black isle, even mentioning specific names and even MCA? How the dare to ask permission for Qwin for their job? FUCKING HEARTLESS MONSTERS :argh:

Hope my point gets good explained with all this shitty words. As far I found PST: EE an overpriced cash-grab for what it is and Beamdog a lazy, grotty company, I found all this reactions completely hilarious. Looks like we are a kind of brotherhood of steel now.

Wow, a guy who pretends to earn his living making classic cRPGs who doesn't like Arcanum! Better if he stays butchering everyone else's games or he'll keep crapping SoDs. Cosas veredes, amigo Sancho.
Hidden perk of making an overrated mess of a game: no sane future developer shill bussinessman will want to have anything to do with it, so the fanboy's feelings won't be hurt. That's some impressive precognition, Troika really knew what they're doing

Because PS:T is seen as a masterpiece. That would be seen like adding to the Mona Lisa unless the new content is really good.

Nope, doesn't work even with fiddling with lucky patcher, game just refuses to launch. Welp, back to Exagear, I advice the other fellow john dwellers just search for that app and play original game on it.

This parasitic firm will continue to leech until they'll die, so once they'll run out of material they can "enhance" they will go back to their previous projects. In the case of P:T EE they will say something along the lines "you wanted it, we delivered" and pay MCA to give his seal of approval and add the stuff that's already been done by a modder. Even with poor sales they can easily sustain themselves because the costs of their "work" are minimal and when TTON was an 8.5 M project this one is 100 times cheaper but they will most likely get higher sales and for a much longer period.

Currently there is no proper working apk. After the latest patch today the game works, but if you try to save it will exit, also a lot of interactions will get the game to exit. It seems Beamdog really made it hard to pirate on Android.
Scrap everything, found patched APK, every action working as intended. But there's a couple questions.

First, was there a good reason behind making a dialogue window fixed sized and so small? On a 5" phone it looks atrociously tiny.
Compare to PS:T not-EE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e8T6Yi8Ncg

Second, why can't this game find a cache if it's installed on a sdcard instead of internal storage? And better question, why can't I move whopping 1,71 gb of data to sdcard AFTER installing it?

Third, why should one press "continue" after every dialogue choice? They're like, big enough to not press the wrong one.

And they expect me to pay them?

can you actually save the game? I already have the patched apk but every time I try to save the game crashes.

Yes, save and load. Where did you get that patched apk?
But I'm sitting with old and tired Android 5.1, maybe there are some system incompability shenanigans?
