Paradox has their own development studio for their strategy titles. They also developed a cancelled RPG in-house.

Searching for my kidnapped sister

I need a quest compass for this one. We care because.. Gaider is visiting Paradox? Pointing to a possible Paradox-Beamdog AD&D project? At the same time as the Pathfinder-Obsidian market testing poll was released?

it's my impression that they are playing coy with the tidbits of him maybe writing something for them. but their tweets just feel off. Nocoy at all~ if later on he do write something for that, and this is really is an effort at testing the water, then the writing department show their level early~

Not that I really need confirmation from Gaider's skill.

Gaider is just giving specialist consultation on how to write a good tranny romance. It's a niche area of writing not to be contained to bioware anymore folks.

I was really asking, I feel like his post means something but I'm not grasping what. Was it just 'posting stuff'?

More like just posting stuff (that could be interesting). As far as I know, he's just visiting Paradox while he's in Sweden for a conference.

To be honest, I think its just social networking. Gaider is a fan and formerly a modder for PDX titles.

Man, I so want this White Wolf game, and I want it to be good.

Preferably some Werewolf game to crack some skulls open... but if it's only combat, and it's boring, maybe not.

Even though WoD tabletop games tended to become quickly a combat slugfest (depended on the GM though), they still provided different solutions to each situation, and they should focus on that.

I don't know wether a SJW Bloodlines would be Decline or dystopic enough to be true to form. Instead of Commie Brujah we got Transgender Activists willing to use force to defend their pronouns. I mean, Vampires don't reproduce through sex so they are the perfect post-gender evolution of the human species.

Excuse me, I need to sit down for a moment.

Bloodlines was strongly SJW even back then. I guess you missed all the anti republican references and tha staging a leftist coup was one of the options.

Wouldn't call it SJW. A strong leftist, liberal vibe, sure, but there were options to call out the Anarchs on their bullshit, and a bunch of other little stuff - like that Italian chick at the Giovanni mansion who would call you a dyke if you tried to seduce her, or the "Bet you're glad it didn't have tentacles!" bit with the loli Japanese.

In a true SJW game all of that stuff would be strictly verbotten.

Indeed. The only question is who's going to be the ASJW clan in Memelines. Ventrue are obviously the Elite so they don't count.

It's not SJW, Anarachs were developed as a faction long before Bloodlines in oWoD. Sure, it was somewhat of a leftist faction (for Kindred it was leftist, for kine - not so much), but Guide to Anarchs didn't paint them all as angels and good guys, far from it. Also, if that's not clear both from the game and from oWoD source-books somehow, Anarch Free State was a failed experiment.

Anyway, if Mitsoda would written an oWoD game now - then yeah, I guess either the Anarchs or the Sabbath would all be rainbow-haired side-cutted tucute or nonbinary demigirls who will fight against the Elders' Gross Patriarchy.

Don't forget dem Panders. But rednecks and bikers are far removed from the modern "freethinkers" like the Beamdog Crowd. They should make a TV show called the Beamdog Crowd.

They remind me of Apple. Toxic and downright and hostile to their customers.

At least Apple has actually made a good product tho.

What about Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition and Icewind dale 2: Enhanced Edition ?

Will this happen?

Probably not, which is a shame (too many revisions to the code).

Planescape: Torment EE would sell well. I want them to implement the cleric class that (probably) would have existed but was cut for time.
