I guess I could call myself a Larianfag in denial? Like I enjoyed the games but I'm also aware the story telling and the jumble mess that is divinity lore can be a turn down, lots of retconning and them not being clear with timeline that require you to sit and shuffle through the official information. But at the same time had joy in specific jokes and takes with the characters.
I expect that experience from BG3, I don't regret doing kickstarter for both games.

It's got a KCD-esque quality to it. None of the modern D&D art influences. Positive impression all around.

Is wholegrain healthier? Sure, but I'd argue that white bread primarily gets its bad name from the commonly consumed processed shit, not real bread.

That "processed shit" is responsible for saving millions of lives because it can be mass-produced. It has nothing to do with syrups and shit. You can make bread that looks just like that without all that crap. The truth is adding all that stuff makes it more addictive so of course, these fat cat companies throw a ton of it in. It doesn't taste or feel nearly as good as the first picture, but the second picture saved the world.
