Lmao and this game's fanfags main defence used to be "It'S TRuE tO thE D&d EXperiENcE", imagine being retarded enough to trust Larian with doing anything other than throw barrels everywhere and say CHEEeeeeSe.

Barrels and cheese is pretty true to the 5e experience.
Fair enough. I guess Larian and 5E are a good fit in terms of crapiness.

Skimming over some footage I will say the game looks fine right now. The C&C looks very promising. But that mixture of try-hard bombast orchestra and caterwauling that passes as music is underwhelming. Shame Michael Hoenig has retired a long time ago.

I absolutely love the fact that recently added Krai Mira 'Dex review on the front page is going to cover the upcoming news regarding BG3 EA announcement . Job well done, Infi!

I'm bored already and I haven't even played it.

This is basically a retarded D:OS3.

It looks like Larian learned from the best and managed to pull off a Bethesda: buy a well known franchise, build a bastardized sequel which has nothing in common with the original games and profit.
people who think larian is the one profiting off of name recognition here are insane
dos2 has been one of the best selling games on Steam for years now, there hasn't been a D&D-licensed singleplayer RPG worth mentioning for two decades.

True, Wizards need to revive D&D vidya more than Larian need to release Baldur's Gate. They could've just made an expansion pack for the open ended DOS2, or a sequel.

I absolutely hate interruptions with dialogue and combat cinematics.
How does it interrupt? Does it just cut to a cutscene, or does it at least pause, zoom in, then fade to the cutscene, or what?
The way exploring faded into talking faded into combat in Divinity OS2 was pretty good.

In the middle of combat, then cuts with dialogue and some meaningless skill check. Very tedious interruption in combat.

IGN journalist plays it at such speed that by the time BG3 leaves Early Access he'll get off Illithid ship

"Baldur's Gate 3 is heavily based on the Divinity: Original Sin 2 engine and many magic items from that game have been adapted for D&D. As such, it's far more common to find +1 items, potions, and scrolls. The magic arrowheads and explosives from Divinity: Original Sin 2 can also be found in Baldur's Gate 3, and they can perform AoE attacks that leave effects on the battlefield."

Enjoy your larian game guys.
