Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
As far as i remember Ass Creed was always woke.
Story-wise, yes, but they actually cared about presenting historical cities with accurate layouts and architecture.
For the nigger in Japan game, they didn't, so you won't even get to parkour through the streets of a centuries-old city like you could in the previous games.

Assassins Creed games aren't stealth games, they're historical parkour games.
I enjoy the older titles because it's fun to run through an ancient city and climb up its tallest buildings.

Shadows is gonna be a shit Assassins Creed game precisely because it has no historical research. The ones set in Italy tried to accurately portray several renaissance cities according to city plans of the time. The ones in Paris and London were great, too. The ancient Egypt and Greece ones even bragged about their historical accuracy by having museum modes or something.

And now, with Shadows, the devs (who are, I would be willing to bet, largely not the same people who worked on the previous games) completely shat the bed when it comes to historical research. Japanese fans already pointed out dozens of inaccuracies when it comes to architecture and design, and it's not even just small details, but egregious mistakes that nobody who pays even a modicum of attention should make. IIRC the game is set in the 17th century, but some homes contain artworks from the 19th century. Not just any artworks, but well-known ones which you could check on fucking wikipedia. Also, some of the architecture apparently isn't even Japanese but Chinese or Korean, because the 3D modelers just thought "lol all Asian architecture is the same". Shameful display.

They focused so much on shoehorning a nigger into medieval Japan that they completely forgot about researching the actual history of the place, so the main appeal of an Assassins Creed game (historical parkour) is now ruined.
It's a shame they make Japan look Korean/Chinese. They should have shown Japan as it really was at the time:

Life hack: If you're getting to know someone who is always reminding you what a good person they are - run away before they do something horrible to you.
Damn straight. Good people don't spend time talking about how good they are; they just act in accordance with their character and expect others to respond accordingly. Someone constantly talking up their own virtue is trying to convince themselves first and foremost.
They could be incredibly neurotic or validation-seeking but yeah it's definitely weird.

In 1929 Oyabe published his book, Nihon oyobi Nihon kokumin no kigen (The Origins of Japan and the Japanese People), in which he claimed that the Japanese were the descendants of the Jewish tribes of Gad and Menashe, known for their military valor. The Japanese word mikado, according to Oyabe, is composed of the prefix mi (honorable) and gaddo, the Japanese pronunciation of the Hebrew Gad. Therefore the imperial family descended from the Jewish tribe of Gad, one of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows is literally about a brown person illegally immigrating to Japan and decapitating Jews

very diverse and inclusive

Ubisoft Cancels Assassin's Creed Shadows Early Access
[Emphasis added]
If Assassin's Creed Shadows had stayed on schedule, it would have been released in just under a month. Instead, Shadows was pushed back to an early 2025 release. Now, players who purchase the Assassin’s Creed Shadows collector’s edition won't be getting early access to the game.

As reported by Insider Gaming, Ubisoft confirmed the cancelation of Assassin's Creed Shadows' early access during a Discord Q&A session. The company also reiterated it will not be moving forward with its plans of implementing season passes. Consequently, the price of Assassin’s Creed Shadows collector’s edition will be dropping from $280 to $230. The collector's edition will still come with a steelbook, an artbook, a statue, and more. However, there may be additional changes to those products before the final release.

The report indicates that these late changes may "be inspired by the issues Ubisoft has had thus far maintaining historical accuracy and cultural representation." That was one of the given reasons for the game's delay in a previous report, in addition to a request from Shadows' developer Ubisoft Quebec to have more time to polish the game before its release.

Additionally, there's been word that Ubisoft Quebec may be adding a co-op mode to Assassin's Creed Shadows. Presumably this will allow two players to fight side-by-side as the game's dual protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke. But given the delay of the game, that feature may not be ready by launch.

Assassin's Creed Shadows will hit PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 14, 2025.

Other than brand notoriety, is there any reason why so many Assassin's Creed games have been released ? From what I've seen, it seems that many of them don't put much emphasis on having you behave like an assassin (ie, being stealthy and avoiding open fights).
Assassin's Creed refers to the Hashishin order, not the modern meaning of the term. Many Hashishin were regular soldiers despite the organization's notoriety for secret murder.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Content Roadmap Released-Wishlist the Game
00QIbaxjx02uXNrB77KK.png

[Emphasis added]
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is one of the most anticipated games, but the game got involved in certain controversies even before it could be released officially. The game focuses on dual protagonists Yasuke and Naoe, and since the release of its first gameplay trailer the game has faced a plenty of backlash and controversy. The controversy mainly revolves around Yasuke, who is actually the series’ first playable character based on a real historical figure. The game features Yasuke as a samurai assassin, who arrived in Japan in the year 1579, when the story for Assassin’s Creed Shadow begins. While the actual facts state that, Yasuke was a real African samurai who served under Oda Nobunaga, the game portrays him as a samurai warrior. The controversy started as Yasuke’s exact status and role within the samurai class remain debated. So, a petition was filed to cancel the game in June 2024, and this petition had nearly 1,00,000 signatures within a month of it being filed. The petition states that Japanese Samurai ‘were a higher class of warrior class, and Yasuke’s portrayal as an African Samurai is totally inaccurate.
Despite the controversies around it, the game is still set to release on the 14th of February, 2025. The game will be released for various platforms including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Ubisoft+, and Windows PC. The two playable characters in the game Yasuke and Naoi portray a unique gameplay style, and this allows the various quests to be approached in different ways by the players.
Recently, Ubisoft has revealed the detailed content roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and it highlights the new gameplay features including stealth, combat, parkour and exploration. The Steam page of the game is live now, and the players can add the game to their wishlist. The Steam Page for the game features new content description such as such as the ability to build and customize a hideout, use information as a strategic tool, and choose between English or full Japanese audio.

The development team plans to engage with the community through an AMA on Reddit, where fans can ask questions directly to the developers. The first gameplay overview article focusing on stealth is scheduled for release on November 21, 2024.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows game belongs to a successful series of games, and the controversies around the game have not diluted the anticipation regarding the game in any way. Content roadmap for the game will definitely create a new hype for the game in the days to come.

This writing just stinks of AI, and google translate. Also, outlets usually try to link as much as possible to other articles, and this one contains no links at all. Like someone just generated the copy and pasted it into the CMS.
