What kind of wimp are you? If i want a charisma run, i do a charisma run. But if I want to be a GUNSLINGER, i want to kill them MYSELF.
The problem is that the game doesn't let me do that.

because only a fucking retard would kill 1 golem at a time in between going back and forth to tarant or wherever the fuck in a game like arcanum, BMC isnt a great dungeon and it's no the reason anyone plays arcanum so why would you make it longer for yourself to whine like a little faggot retard about it years later on forums? hire some goons and zip through it in 45 mins- 1 hour or keep doing something that obviously isn't fun to you

Arcanum's fatigue system is pretty great idea, but have slightly shitty implementation.
It combines mana, partially health (almost like in Darklands) and, indeed, "fatigue" from constant swinging of swords and other heavy objects.
Ways to restore it:
1) Just wait. I think high con helps.
2) Eat that technological thingie from leaves of coca and tobacco. I always had dozen of them in inventory. They are cheap as dirt (3 gp+3 gp for reagents) and easily procurable both in city, dungeons and wilderness.
3) Magical potion. Ubiquitous as well.

Why you can't just rest in the dungeon? It's the dungeon, stupid. In most RPGs you can't rest in dungeon or, when you can, you risk random encounters.

WHY you constantly lose fatigue points? You cast like where is no tomorow? Then cast more carefully. You lose fatigue to attacks? Cast fucking congeal time, raise dodge, don't engage enemy, use live shield and so on.

If I can recover my fatigue normally, why can't I just skip the minute it takes me to recover it? It's an annoyance. I would gladly risk a random encounter by resting inside the dungeon (since that's what happens if you rest outside BCM, as I discovered thanks to some wolves).
