  • Post-Modern RPG is PoE and (even more) Numenera which consists mostly of references to old masterpieces but without being great by itself.

The Codex's tragedy is that it hates any game that breaks an old formula because it breaks it, and hates every game that doesn't because it's second-rate. It wants to play Fallout the first time again. That's never going to happen.
Right now I'm watching "I'm Thinking of Ending Things". Omg this is so smart and bitter and crazy fucked up shit (in a good way).

Please keep posting those statuses, one day I'll use your profile page as very handy list of movies/games/books I shouldn't bother with

Smart people are usually very positive because they understand being happy is healthy. It's dumb people who are miserable and depressed
How can anyone unironically like the Deadfire

I unironically like it. Could be better of course, but it's one of my favorite RPG's of the last 10 years.

Lady Error, but what did you like about it? The story? The combat? The shiips?

Class system, combat, piraty travel stuff, lots of unique items, some cool enemies like dragons, the CYOA sequences. Magic system, story and companions could have been better though.
One of most enigmatic things for me - devteams who are developing FOR DECADES some pointless big modes for existing games (like Skyblivion).

Color this light is only achievable by adding an extreme amount of sgushenka

Is there a big corona peak in these places where people are mass protest nowadays, YSA, Belarus etc? If no - why?

People of Weissrussland suggest a trade: Lukashenko in USA, Trump in Weissrussland

USA is the origin of POTATO so makes sense tbh

Mass protests don't seem to correlate well with corona peaks. Corona doesn't seem to transmit well outdoors. Indoors events with crowds and lots of shouting/singing/talking are the risky ones.
Disco Elysium is simply good writing. Really good one. Even if you put aside its themes, raised questions and style which are breathtaking.

Disco Elysium is simply bad gameplay. Really bad one.

Honestly I have no idea what to read online, the distribution of interesting things and insane shit seems 2 be completely random everywhere.
