I don't have guilty pleasure games because i don't feel guilty about liking something.
This, but to flip the statement around:

If I (will) feel guilty of it, I (would) find no pleasure in it. Absolutely none. Such concept is foreign to me, too.

Have you guys never picked up the last call leftovers at the bar, or boned a chick that you hoped your buddies wouldn't find out about? I mean, it's a lot of fun, but there's a certain amount of guilt/shame/self loathing that goes into that too.

On topic:

Looter shooters and action RPGs in general. They're mindless and repetitive, but I have a weakness for them and try not to talk about them in these parts too much.

In particular:
Borderlands (all, but particularly 3 as it has the best gameplay even though all the narrative, dialogue, etc. is stupid as hell)
The Division 2

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Guilty pleasures, eh?

I guess the TES games. I usually buy and play for one hundred hours. Skyrim is the first game where I didn't bother with any expansions. A possible TES6 doesn't feel like a game that I will pick up any time close to its release.

Two Worlds II, I felt wasn't objectively great, but I liked messing around with the spell system. It also has the best merchant banter ever, and music is solid enough.

Risen 2 was decline, compared to Risen, but I didn't hate it.

I like Enhanced Editions for BG1/2. "but you hate npc's like hexxat"

Yes, but I love to polymorth her into a squirrel and imprison her in depths of the earth. I do that with all beamdog NPC's and play mostly EE due it having more mods.

Not an RPG, but fits your criteria: Submarine Titans. It's a cool little strategy game which has a lot of interface issues and lacks many QoL improvements. It's not that deep (no pun intended) but it's still enjoyable of a short while and I don't know why lol.

I thought Two Worlds was fun at the time, especially compared to its awful reputation.

Modded Skyrim and even Oblivion.

I have played Fable all the way through three times in my life, and there's a decent chance I will beat it at least once more before I depart this vale of tears. I feel guilty over this because I know, objectively, that it is a shit-tier RPG.

So why do I like it? I think a big part of it stems from the fact that it was one of my first RPGs (along with Morrowind) when I was just a wee popamoler with an Xbox. Games that you played and loved as a kid seem to have a way of sticking with you, even once you become old enough to know better.

Despite the game's flaws -- and holy hell, there are a lot of them -- it did have a few interesting ideas, and a goofy charm that feels to me like a much better / less annoying version of what Larian tries to do in their games.

Here's a quest I remember that always gives me a good chuckle. It's important to note that this comes near the beginning of the game, when most players are still in "talk to everyone and do every quest possible" mode.

When you go into Bowerstone Quay, in the northern section is an old man, sitting on a bench, trying to get your attention. He says he has a lovely daughter, who loves strong handsome men, but there is a price for her ― you must change your looks.

To start things off, the old man gives you the Pudding Basin style card and tells you to find a barber to make the changes. Should you agree, he then gives you the Mutton Chop Beard style card. After you pay another visit to the barber, he then asks you to grow a Trader Style moustache and gives you the style card. If you get the moustache and then go back to him, you find out that he was joking with you all along and doesn't have a daughter. He just likes making people like you look stupid.

IIRC since the game allows you to attack anyone at anytime, you can beat the dude to death right after this if you want.

P.S. Fuck the Fable sequels though. They somehow managed to get even worse after the first one.

Fable is good, but only if you consider it a consolized action-adventure.

The only game that ever made me feel guilty after playing it was the original Everquest. No other game managed to make me neglect real life responsibilities quite like that game.

Yeah, I enjoyed TW1. I thought the sister was hot but I didn't enjoy how they made harmless animals , like Ostriches, suddenly hostile killers

I have TW2 on Steam and I must play it sometime

My guilty pleasures are summons that practically play the game for you. Sitting back and watching a massive horde overrun the enemy with almost no further input is cathartic. I'll tolerate a little micro or casting some support spells, but mostly I want to turn my brain off and watch the carnage. Diablo 2 Skellymancer was the pinnacle of ARPGs. All the spectacle of RTS without needing to be a Korean on amphetamines.

Aren't you supposed to cast curses, corpse explosions and recast skellies like mad to feel warm and dry on Hell ?
