This is the first game I contemplated killing most of my companions.

I won't dispute the fact that Regill is cool and should probably be in charge of the entire crusade.

ATOM has poor writing but I play it so I can transfer the character to Trudograd, that and its still more fun and devoid of wokeness.

I think about killing the companions in most crpgs, ps:t is probably the only exception where I'd keep them along because I want to. BG1/2 you don't really have a choice since there's no merc system so you gotta pick some of them, at least unless you're a pro gamer.

That's not entirely true. The trick is to start amultiplayer session and give a control of all party members to yourself.
