What's that game? Don't remember the title? Ask here.

Top-down fantasy action game with local co-op. There were some characters to pick from like warrior, mage (or sorceress?) and so on. It was top-down (NOT isometric), and it looked like an RPG but it wasn't, it was a simple action game where you avoided fireballs and opened some gates.

I haven't been able to find it since I played it for like 5 minutes on the neighbourhood's jew boy's PC over 20 years ago, before his grandmother went into a fit of paranoiac schizophrenia and shouted at me to get out because she thought I am there to steal her gold. In retrospect this is why I hate jews.

Could it be Gauntlet?

Thanks! Well it wasn't Gauntlet but it was a good call because looking for Gauntlet clones I found it:

There was an RPG on PC that was made by 1 guy I think, and he was a euro (I think central). I think he hired a former porn star or something (also EU) and I think you played as her as your character. I might have that bit wrong. But she was in the artwork and I think in the game somewhere. I think it was first person and you had a party and in combat it was kind of like Final Fantasy combat. Rows of enemies etc. I can remember more if you need.

Ok, so I have this vivid memory of adventure game, sorta like oldschool Sierra title Kings Quest. I think it was DOS game. Point and click.
I remember it had a section in heaven (I think), where you had to answer questions that would determine the kingdom fate, as well as section with dark thorny forest impassable until you find some item.

It's gnawing on my mind as I never completed it and was thinking to revisit. Forgot the title tho.

Half a decade ago I came across an odd video on YouTube of an intro to a 2d fighting game (MK, SF, etc). It was so amateurish that I couldn't possibly put a date on it. The intro has a scientist accidently open a portal to hell/another dimension. Biomech mutants come out. The scientist tries to escape or something, but the monsters slice off his arms and drill his eyes out with their drill bit fingers.

It looked like it was animated in Ms paint, so I doubt this was arcade. Probably shareware trash from the late 90s. I don't remember the actual gameplay at all.

Is it something from Bloodlust Software? Otherwise, check one of these.

You are right. It's TimeSlaughter by Bloodlust software. Looks like the 2 guys that made it were highschoolers at the time. Apparently they are also responsible for the earliest free emulators for the nes and genesis.

Oh, they did one for Genesis? I remember Nesticle, infamous for having a cursor that's a dick IIRC. Such problems seem quaint in retrospect considering the uh...dumpster fires that modern emulator drama seems to be.

I don't even care about this game but it bothers me I can't remember the name and chatgpt was USELESS at finding it. Although I can't remember much... And I might be remembering 2 different games. But lets see if anyone knows.

It is an Adventure Game, like a point and click adventure game, 1980s or 1990s. PC game. Maybe on Amiga or something else. Kind of EGA/VGA era.

In the start of the game you are in kids bedroom or someones house or something, and you have a computer in the game. You interact with it by clicking on stuff like the floppy drive. You have to do something on the computer to be able to leave the house. And then there is some more puzzling to do, I think you go along a path and there is a bucket and if you click on it a magic mop appears or something. It's part of a puzzle.

The style was kind of child friendly like The Legend of Kyrandia or something. But the computer at the start looked pretty realistic. Anyone know?

c64, pov from behind, spaceship flying low on surface, with a pillar/tower in the distance slowly getting closer. i played it last time in 1987, the same day i got measles and the day before i watched "jesus christ superstar" for the first time. what an eventful life.

oh, yes, i got another one: c64/amiga (iirc it was available on both), multi-event game, probably ww2, i very vaguely remember something about a map, another one about submarines, but the my favourite/easier to understand had you manning anti-air turrets, trying to intercept planes coming forward.

it looked like buck rogers, but it lacks the tower. i recall wide movement freedom (it could had been 360°, it probably was more like 180) and a blue sky. it's not zaxxon for obvious reasons, and i think it looked worse than skyrunner, which doesn't match the ground i recall as more like ochre. definitely not green.
