everyone not a member of antifa is a nazi to them you stupid fuck

When Luckmann mentioned it here of course I went and searched for it and followed the link. In this particular case, they are 100% correct in their nazi assessment and Luckmann wouldn't even deny this.

This is a bit like the JF thing where some newbies refused to believe he was a real, self-identifying, unironic nazi.

Useful for what?

Keeping an eye on in case of problems later on down the line.

"This guy's such a nazi that antifa have compiled a dossier on him" is useful knowledge for a site's administration to have.

It would be one thing for us to share amongst ourselves, for example, JarlFrank's private collection of DeviantArt (*ahem*), but in this case it's a bad example because that wouldn't and couldn't have revealed Jarl's real-life, detailed info. It would only be illustrative of his alternate lifestyle.

The link in question, considering its rather thorough nature, probably should have been treated much more carefully, if shared at all, especially if Admin isn't as secure as it should be. However, there is something to be said about Infinitron's potentially not knowing about a leak in Admin's security.

If someone other than a Codex moderator or administrator

Is this within lawful processing as deemed by law? What is the rationale of sharing that data if it doesn't serve any purpose as quoted within lawful processing realms[transaction processing, payment, taxes, or other state mandated activities]?

Are moderators employees of the company that accept the payments, ie. greg martin enterprise? If not that's a breech of law for sure.
DU gives the impression he doesn't give a shit about these serious aspects (data privacy laws, etc).
Hmm yet i haven't noticed anyone actually losing them or getting scammed in real life. Clearly the security must be ok if nobody had ended up whining how he owns 150k because he ordered three containers with toilet paper from india.

Wasnt Jarl Frank harassed by german authorities, and codex gave all the data like good lapdogs?
Have no idea about that. And it is expected that they will cooperate with authorities lol. What do you think this place is,some dark web organ smuggling and red room emporium???

They[rpgcodex/greg martin enterprise] dont operate in germany retard, they don't have to do jackshit if german authorities ask them. Its in their good[bad]will to share such information to german authorities.

Right to access (or mere practical ability to access) aside, the key issue is that it was shared on this forum in contradiction to Codex rules, rules that have been recently cited in the banning of many users.

Kalin received a temp ban for being obsessed, other people following his example received temp bans for being insubordinate.
Oh, so it wasn't for the (((T)))-word? So it would be fine if I found out someone else's real life name and started posting it as long as I wasn't """obsessed""" and wasn't expressly forbidden from using that particular name? Or would that actually go against Codex rules and get me banned? Which is it?

If the user whose name you keep mentioning doesn't approve of it, it'd be against forum rules regardless of whether he had freely shared that info himself in the past or not. Same as in the case of Maxie demanding that Planetard should stop sharing that photo of him which he had previously posted.

And if that's the case, the admins/mods shouldn't be acting otherwise unless absolutely necessary.

Good thing that isn't me.

I actually was scrutinized back in my more rambunctious days. I don't care since I didn't cross any lines once those lines were clearly defined, and my opsec seems to have held up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

People can and have knocked themselves out calling felipepe Felipe or Jason Liang Jason or David Cernat David and so on. If the rabblerousers had self-control I'm sure they could have eventually gone back or will possibly be able to occasionally refer to Infinitron by his first name again. For some reason they think it's solely about the name (something no one has even been punished for in all the years he's been referred to by his name) and not the recent pattern of behavior around it.

Yeah, you've proven beyond any doubt you are a hypocrite.

I'm still waiting for you and the Jew to be "temporarily" banned for doing far worse than the users that got banned - but I know you lack the integrity and honor to do so.

Codex drama has been getting pretty gae lately, not the usual "What kind of hi-jinx is DarkUnderlord up to now?" stuff every other month like before. It's now usually more shit like an increase in literal shilling for shitty games, arbitrary/shitty moderation, something about the Shitbox or "Oh, there's a Moderator clique, and apparently they gather information about users and have compiled a list of "undesirables"" or "Oh, there's apparently a Discord clique now, that has overt influence over the site and its policies" or several of them of different persuasions battling one another over influence or whatever.

The current Drama is kinda cringe and has a bit of a "don't use the deadname, bigot!" feel to it. It seems more performative than actually being about any act, since everyone capable of following a link or right-clicking a picture can easily get to the relevant information posted several times itt. If it was about that, this thread would have been purged, or locked down and hidden away, or at least the links removed or whatever. Instead you've got the bans of over a dozen people, Shitbox drama etc. attracting gawkers and drawing more direct attention to it.

It seems to be more about some sort of vindictive "FOLLOW TEH RULEZ" power-tripping "I'm the big, bad Moderator on an Internet forum and you will OBEY ME" bullshit you'd expect on Leddit or NeoFAG with people encouraging more bans or giving an attaboy because they didn't like some guy at the other end of it. Once that shit starts, it's usually downhill from there.

This is especially funny/hypocritical, since there's plenty of threads where people posted the full/real names of various other people that might or might not want them known or posted without any issues. We even have posters combing through a life's worth of Social media Twatter/Shitbook footprints of random Online people and compiling videos about them, or creating websites/pictures, including developers or former members (Rex Exitium, Brother None etc.) or obtaining/posting things like court docs to peruse and discuss. Afaik we've even had Infinitron himself outing a developer or two as a user on this site. But posting his first name, which according to him wasn't even supposed to be a secret is apparently "a step too far".

Also lol @ people giving random websites their credit card or PayPal information or signing up with anything other than a throwaway e-mail address and/or using a uniquely identifying nickname everywhere on the Interwebz.

Yes. Oh no, someone looked up someone's personal information and shared it with a select few others. Additionally
 If it's on the internet, I have the right to access it.
What do you think this thread is about?
