What game are you wasting time on?

Searching for my kidnapped sister
CIty of heroes/villains, because I can make two scantily-clad lassies running around with sword (scrapper and tanker). When I get bored enough I will return to finish NWN2 once and for all.

Anyway, quick questions:
1. SWTOR is F2P? I thought it's just out.

2. is there any other game with same character creation as COH?

Right now I'm on Dark Souls, just killed both that black knight and Havel the Rock, and I shot a dragon's tail off which netted me a sword that I slayed the fuck out of him with. Fuck fighting it with archery, that's for pussies. The game is pretty fucking badass, bros.

Also started Zelda Skyward Sword and stopped after the 2nd dungeon. Fuck it is boring.

This shit is a lot better than Gears of Derp, yet it didn't get any media attention whatsoever. Overall very nice dungeon romp with likeable protagonists, the perfect fast food for inbetween.

Just did another (3rd? I think) playthrough of Sengoku Rance. Was fun. Unlocked some more points for second game bonuses and a couple new families. Just the Isoroku route left to do. Though I want to do second playthrough of a bunch of other crap too anyways. Still haven't cleared most of the characters. I always miss or fuck up some minor little thing. Also, starting the game with Kenshin + Naoe is really friggin OP. I can't imagine what it's going to be like with them AND Ran AND the Youkai when I get around to my next playthrough. Omachi was brutal for the little while I used her before the end.

Also tried playing Master of Mana (Civ 4 - FFH Modmod) again. Game crashed right when things were getting interesting of course. :rage:

Rayman:Origins. Probably one of the most solid platformers i've played in a while. Glad to see a another proper Rayman game.

Sadly it sold like crap for not being Gray and Bloody enough for the Gears of War tards.

Been wasting lots of time on Battlefield 3 after they released some of the Battlefield 2 maps for it.

Had a new pc a couple of weeks ago - my old one fried for good, was about 8 years old, RIP - so I picked up all the games I've been missing. I locked myself up and was on a vidya game orgy for the last couple of days, must have played non-stop for more than 10 hours at a time, I didn't do this since my teenagehood . Shameful but then I wounded myself training so I can't go do any sports anyway, blah blah blah, thanks blogcodex

So yeah - I've been playing DXHR, Witcher 2 (I played through the first one too), and Skyrim
DXHR has okay gameplay - I'm a sucker for "smart fps" kind of gameplay so I enjoy it - but it can't seem to make me give a shit about the world and story. One word : technobabble. Lots of it. What were they thinking? All the datapads I pick up are filled with this nonsense, what the christ. The music also bothers me a lot (goddamn middle eastern wailing women all the time). Maybe I'll write my impressions about it more at length at some point
Witcher 1 - first time I replayed this since it came out, this time on Enchanced edition - shit is still choppy and feels awkward at times but I enjoyed it well enough. Blues, love, and all that, I can't remember the line. Oh yeah : Why The Witcher Is An Intelligent Game. As far as medieval fantasy goes, this is probably one of my favorite game and setting
Witcher 2 - YEAAAAHHHH BABY!!!!! I didn't play it that much but this shit is Hollywood. I enjoy the combat system, pretty challenging. I've only played about the jungle a bit so far and it feels like a real jungle, I got lost all the time, it's cool. The graphics look fucking awesome, man. I'm realising I'm a big poser because I actually enjoy arpgs more than isometric turned-based old shit . Well big surprise. Oh yeah, this game got the manliest minigames ever, doesn't it
Skyrim - already wrote a bit about this game in other threads, it's alright, but I think Witcher 2 definitively crushes it because SHEPPERD-GERALT :yeah:

Been playing Alan Wake. The game tickles me in all the right places. Its story is a wonderful fusion of Stephen King, Twin Peaks, and Lovecraftian horror with a great soundtrack and voice acting. Though, like his previous games Max Payne 1 and 2, Sam Lake does love to get sidetracks with long bouts of purple prose.

Avadon, still, but I'm stuck. I'm at a part where there is a demon on an island and he keeps spawning more demons around in endless waves. There are two wheels on opposite peninsulas but they neither one does anything so I'm just kind of sitting here wondering what the fuck I'm supposed to do.

Trine 2 pretty good, maybe not as good as the first one and the wizard with unlimited mana is too powerful sometimes but still enjoying myself.Loved the giant snail/frog/octopus so far

Torchlight.
I like the art direction and general feel but it seems too easy.
Started on normal played for a couple of levels until I got a lightning bolt spell that one shotted just about everything, and it bounces to a second target. Got too easy so I started over on Hard. Same thing happened only a little later, when I got Ember Lance. Its a beam that aims whichever way your mouse is, that kills anything in its way in a sec or two, you can just sweep it over a room and everythings gone. Not sure if I should start over yet again, with another class or something, because this Alchemist class is seriously overpowered.

Well since I picked it up for $1 I thought I'd try Derp Nerk'ems Forever. Amazing that I'm an hour plus into a ten hour FPS game and I've barely experienced any FPS action.

Dig, man, dig! The content patch they added recently put in a TON of new stuff. Unfortunately I failed hard at trying to kill the bosses and it's backlogged forever thanks to the Steam sale.

Yeah, death so fars are like:
1. Boulder on my head.
2. Wrong hotkey, I wanted to drop a tile while tunneling down...instead, I drop a bomb.
3. Learning the nature of the sand tile, by digging underneath it!
4. Entering some tower...and got insta-killed by a floating skull (wtf?)

I learned that i should just tunnel wayyyy down and plant wooden platform every 8 tiles or so. It's been great, hitting water tile...and deciding to side track horizontally...side stepping the water...then tunnel down slowly...

such a sweet, simple, game. I wish I have friends playing with me. :( It gets lonely at times in the huge map.

I started the first Final Faggotry yesterday. Decent dungeon crawler so far, although a bit grindy for my tastes. Light on plot compared to the next installment but that's alright. I also read that the subsequent remakes made the game easier and I laugh at the popamole. Only other FF I played was IV with the translation patch and it was rather cool.

Plowing through DoW2 Chaos Rising, while its fun with all the blood and explosions its still like a 4 squad Diablo grind. Tyranids are a bit bitch to handle when swarming but otherwise its a cakewalk. Didnt have to revive anybody during these 10 missions. grind grind grind
