The crooked orientation of the letters reminds one of some kind of physics-based casual game where you break things.

I say keep the cracked grey letters, but straighten them out.

The Ranger star should also probably be a bit more visible.

Looks really crappy. That font is pretty much the next worst thing to using Comic Sans Serif. Nobody uses Impact, especially not for logos, inXile. NOBODY. Brother None, did they make you do the logo too?

They could have at least tried to do something with it... but those clean, vector edges interrupted by a couple of cracks... bleh.

How about something like this badge, but very worn, rusted, discolored, cracked, missing some pieces with "wasteland" where it says Sheriff and 2 or II in the center where the star is? Can be a different type of badge style as well.

Personally, I would say "II" in the center would be better than "2".

First of all, they asked for thoughts about it. Thoughts: It sucks.

In other words, don't want to be criticized, don't show and say "what u think, guise???". Because I doubt anybody would have given much of a fuck if the first time they saw the logo was when they started the game for the first time.

But yeah, don't criticize anything, not even when you're asked to, it's the best way to get what you want.
