Some Polak has decided to make Vault 13 using Unity Engine 5. You can see it below or download presentation yourself.

A short presentation of Vault 13 door. Fully animated and created with Unity 5.
Download here:

and then just unrar and click exe to run. If you have ever wondered how the classic Fallouts would look on steroids this might interest you. Some of the graphics effects used: realitime lightning, realtime shadows, global illumination, physically based shading, antialiasing.
inferno may even expand the demo in the future (like showing the entire Vault floor or something).
Made by a fan of classic fallouts - inferno8.

Important note: inferno is not making a Fallout mod (this is only a demo showing how could F1&2 look when made using Unity), but he is currently working on his own strategy/rpg project.

Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
It's maybe not worth creating a thread for it but I didn't see a good thread to post it in either. And if this inferno guy will decide to expand this demo it might get interesting (as in he will get C&D from Shithesda).

Do we have any info about his own "strategy/rpg project"?

Not yet, the YouTube video and synopsis were made by his friend and there are no details so far.

Just wait for Bethesda's legal team to drop a cease and desist notice on this as they did with Scrolls for using the word scrolls...

Putting a big gear door with the teeth on the external side is dumb as hell.

Some post-apocalyptic guy could jam a steel chock in the teeth of the receiving plate and you all die of dehydration you stupid assholes

This is like realizing HP Lovecraft didn't know enough about Arabic names to know Abdul Alhazred is misconstructed

It means Servant of the the Hazred

Eh, only the most aspietarded people point that out and I highly doubt that it was a genuine mistake. It's not the way arabic names are made but arabic names are generally fucking retarded and unimaginative. It actually makes perfect sense in and of itself though.

I was going to make this (well, whole starting Vault) in Unreal 4.

Then I got distracted.
