Wolfenstein 2's devs also explicitly talked about the anti-Trump rhetoric openly IIRC.

That game is a fucking abomination. Unworthy of the Wolfenstein name.
Nu-Wolfenstein went straight to hell after Old Blood (game which was inspired by the awesome Return to Castle Wolfenstein, that's what made it good).

Anyway, back to Bloodlines 2...

Prepare yourself for disappointment. It's all "Daenerys kind of forgot" tier writing. They had an end state they wanted (Wiccan blood witches!) and we're very lazy filling in the blanks to get there.

The whole Carna thing isn't a terrible idea to capture the real life beginner spirit cooking you see on tiktok or whatever, but they could have been a mage or a werewolf group instead.

Like Deus Ex, VTM is a blacklisted IP. The "lore" is literally just a list of things that really happened. VTMB itself is a masquerade violation. You can get a better education reading the White Wolf wiki than going to college. I don't care what excuse they give for Bloodlines 2 being in development hell, someone sabotaged the project

More likely it won't come back at all. The IP has the value of Half-Life by now as too much time has passed, and it's owned by a company that has its values askew. Really, it being some kind of interactive 2D story is the only way they could make it profitable.

Half-Life is a bad example. GabeN could waddle out in front of a green screen tomorrow on a random impromptu stream and announce Half-Life 3 and you would think Jesus Christ himself just showed up in the clouds and the rapture was upon us.
