First dev blog released

We didn’t want you to be the ‘errand girl of Evil’. If you were just a grunt or a lackey, your ability to influence or change the world would be limited, and your responsibility for the fact that evil won would be reduced.

G-girl? THE SJW AGENDA HAS POISONED TYRANNY WITH THEIR HERETICAL BELIEFS, WHAT'S NEXT OBSIDIAN? THE ANTAGONIST IS A TRANNY? HUH?

Ohhhh I see. Being a woman enables you to better "influence and change the world", since women are in charge. If Amber Scott was writing this, the snarky remarks and curt retorts would be everywhere.

Btw for the whole Kyros/Kairos debate:
In Greek Kyros is pronounced "KEER-oss" while Kairos is pronounced "kaer-OSS".
So yeah in English they look as if they could be the same thing, but since they're talking about ancient Greek..

but will this game have gyros

If he had written "errand boy of Evil", would you be upset like hell, too, because you're going to be restricted to male PC only? Should he wrote "errand human of Evil instead"?

How can anybody who has read a pen-and-paper RPG manual in the last decade be unfamiliar with the concept of writing with female as default gender

Eh.... more like plural pronouns some people insist on misusing as singular neutral.

Which books are those anyway, Infinitron?

I guess stuff by Paizo, WOTC, Catalyst Labs, Monte Crook* and other incloosive companies are a given. But I haven't read any of them so I'd never expect to have default gender as female to be a common practice in the RPG world.

Hell nothing I've read even has a default gender except maybe AD&D 2nd Ed. which defaults to male but makes sure to put a disclaimer it's not to be taken as excluding girls from playing the game. And I think that's only on revised book?

*Actually I've skimmed numenderpa to generate a character for the review session but I've erased such details from my memory.
