Lol, I remember it was always -10% on Steam (still, I don't want to buy it even for $22.50 for now).

Well they have explicitly said they were going for an androgynous look for Garrot. Ack, this sentence makes me cringe so hard.

Video game heroes are always angry and frowning, "look at me, I'm a hardass!." I've seen war time photos of soldiers with missing limbs who were more joyous. I guess it must be real rough being an invincible power fantasy man.

Hehe guess who just hired to playtest the latinamerica release of the game guys :D
Since there are several testers for the localization I am safe to post it.
I asked for and got the PC version, I just came here to post some impressions haters gonna hate em but...
Most of the arcady things about the game like the deus ex takedowns, arrow pointers, slow month and bat vision are all options that can be turned off
The ingame graphics are extremly moody with great use of shadows and they are defiently a highlight
The new voice actor...doesn't suck but he is really generic
I have only played the tutorial and the first level but the game feels like a thief game as much as deadly shadows but with preatier graphics
Combat feels right you can kill a single opponent and maybe 2 with some risks but it let's you decide a la splinter cell
the story is a rebooth and doesn't include many references to the supernatural enemies seen in the trailer so far
All in all it is not bad and much better than purists would expect, if you liked Deadly Shadows this feel very similar and even a touch harder with the options
I try to post some screenshots later on in case anybody is interested

Is it true that the light gem only has three stages? If so is it noticeable?

Yep the gem goes only dark light and middle and from what I was told the PS4 version has the light gem system integrated into the controler screen.
Oh so now I am a rat for sharing this? Mmm guess I won't be posting thoughts here since most of your minds are made up over the game beign bad, had some cool pics but I rather not risk it then since you guys are not interested anyway, so I will just leave you with the parting thought that it is pretty good and while compromises have been made most of those are optional

What? You can't be serious. I can see from the videos that this is not true.

I am curious what is the dead giveaway supposed to mean Darth Rexor? That I am a retard for liking the game or what?

Is there a difficulty like in previous games (find every loot, don't kill anyone).
How does the AI react?
Can you move objects freely?
Can you climb up on every stuff or to just pre scipted places?
How is jumping?
Where can you shoot arrows?
Turning off arrow pointers is possible you say? And are you fucked if you do that or not? I'm asking because if the game doesn't let you shoot arrows on every wooden surface, you won't know where you can shoot wihtout pointers.
How easy to kill guards?
Are there secret areas, which is really hard to find?
How many pre-scripted animation are there (jumping, climbing etc).
Do you have items like in the previous games (mine, different arrows, flash granade, potions)?
Is the game railroaded, or is it like the previous games, where you are dropped in a huge level, and you are on your own finishing the mission without help.

You know I was almost going to do that but since I am playing the game in their offices and I took these with my phone I am guessing some retard is going to want something else and to be honest I don't need to prove anyhting here. Not beign a hardcore thief fan I thought the real fans would be interested but I guess I was wrong as is almost always the case in the good old Codex
No worries back to the threads of games that interest me and sorry for the bother ;)
