How could anyone think this trailer should get not only approved, but budgeted and produced? It is embarrasing. The music! The evil mc evilguy ritual! The sidekick/love interest falling into the portal! The... I mean, I get it, this whole project reeks of a group dynamic where someone pitches in bad idea after bad idea, and it goes into production because everyone around the table prefers drawing a paycheck to actually speaking up about the hideous problems everywhere. But, damnit, these clowns could at least have tried making something like... well, not Thief or Dishonored, but maybe Deadly Shadows or DX: Human Relations.

That trailer looks so incredibly generic. Looks like a mix between Diablo 3's brand of generic plus a lot of Dishonored "influence". I also don't know why they seem to be forsaking the use of color in the backgrounds, it's not like you need to make everything black in order to generate a "dark" atmosphere anyways.

That's not how you troll Thief fans. Have you learned nothing from reading this 155 page thread? You need to throw a "i will be playing this on console" bone otherwise it doesn't stick. For maximum pain enjoyment tell us how the old one was unnecessarily complicated and that the removal of features streamlining is a good thing.

Overall would not get trolled again.
