And that from me who actually LIKED X-Com Interceptor, and played X-Com Enforcer ALL the way through..
It was.. really bad.. but somewhat funny..
NuXcom is an insult that wears its skin, poorly, and spits in my face every chance it gets, invented the cancerous "2 AP system" and retarded camera that only turns in 90 degree because console controller shit.. and worst of all, the bloody casuals think they're SO GREAT for playing it. They don't know real challenge, or the pain of looking for the last friggin' alien hiding in a closet somewhere on a 3 story cruise liner....

Worst Raped in this context probably means the largest distance between the peak and fall, but should also account for length of rape. A great series with one bad remake made a decade later (Thief, Duke Nukem) is still a great series. A great series that has been held down and raped with shitty game after shitty game, losing virtually all it's fans AND casuals and being canned with no hope of any closure... now that's a fall from grace.

Edit: I'd probably have chosen Fallout but I feel like there's more suffering yet to come. They will take the crown when Bethesda makes Fallout 5 a mobile game.

It's very tough choice between Fallout, Jagged Alliance, Ultima and X-Com, but I have to go with Fallout, the fall between Fallout 1 & 2 -> Fallout 3/4 is probably the biggest fall in quality, not even New Vegas can save it.

Terrible crimes have been inflicted upon that particular franchise, with C&C Rivals being a far greater defilement of something venerable and well-regarded than Fallout 76 could ever aspire to be. Bethesda is clueless, but C&C Rivals is a work of evil.

I mulled over this one for a while, but ultimately voted for the Ultima series. The only other contender was the Fallout series.

As much as I'd like to recount the rise and fall of Ultima so that people would understand my vote, but it depresses me to do so. I'll only say this: Despite Ultima starting as a single-player RPG and becoming the first successful Massively Multiplayer Online game, EA's handling of the franchise killed it stone dead. Fallout survived to be acquired to Bethesda. Ultima died in 1999 and has stayed that way since. It takes effort to kill off such a renowned and notable franchise. Nice one, EA.

I voted Wizardry, as I care a hell of a lot more about that rranchise than I ever cared about Fallout. It basically exists now only in Japan with Anime graphics that make me want to claw my own eyes out - that's like going from your dream girl to something you wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

Thought about Command & Conquer but I think C&C 4 was a bigger rape than Rivals - which is actually a kind of fun game for handhelds with a C&C coat of paint.
