So as you may or, more likely, may not know, there is infact a pokemon MMO. It's made by some presumed basement dwellers and yes, it works exactly like the handheld console games, except you can trade and fight with other players, and you can't savescum like the little faggot that you are (we know you savescummed before Zapdos back in the day, don't try to cover it).

Requirements?
-potato computer with Mac, Windows or Linux operating systems
-java
-roms from pokemon fire red, emerald and heart gold / souls silver (the last one is optional but recommended for better gfx)

Extract them into the game's ROMs folder for convenience. Once you start the game it should be pretty straightforward.

So far it has basically all the content from Fire Red (the Gen 1 remake for Gameboy Advance) and that includes teh SEVII islands (not sure if they added Mewtwo yet, tbh, didn't check) and it also has Hoenn (that's Gen 3).

So far I only know of jcd and myself who are playing it.

Alright, resident weaboos and pokefags, let's get this show running. After all, this is a party based RPG with turn based combat. I have no idea why anyone on codex would hate it.

Feel free to ask me any questions or pokemon, I have a ton of low level crap that could help you out in the beginning or maybe even long term (like larvitar or dratini).

My little brother used to play it. It's well done. I like how Mewtwo is forced pvp, so if you capture Mewtwo, you are forced to accept battle invites and the winner keeps the pokemon. If you log out, Mewtwo goes back to the wild. And there is only one Mewtwo at the original place of Pokemon red.
Breeding is also easier, since you can now choose the pokemon genre and whatnot, however, you end up losing the parents. It's more like giving two pokemon for a new one than breeding and keeping parents and sons.

Write your ingame nickname and username so I or jcd can add you and invite you to the group. Make sure to click the settings button on the chat window and click "add new tab" in the upper left corner. Name it "team" and enable only team chat in it. Then you can get tips from us in real time if we're playing at the same time.

I don't have time to write any general tips now, but it's not a hard game, you'll get the hang of it, story is easymode and noob friendly, at least in the beginning. It's a game made for kids after all.
