The prize for 36 potatoes was Valve Complete Pack apparently. Only problem being, I already owned everything Valve has done except for CS:CZ. So I got the stand-alone HL1 engine CS spinoff for free. Oh well.

Also got access to Portal 2 like an hour earlier.

Seems... not worth it at all. Has that holiday video at the aperture science site always been there?

They're now selling Majesty 2 with all DLC for $20 (new pricepoint). Despite the criticisms I'll pick this up if it ever gets 75% off: $5 for base game and all DLC.

Arma 2 $8. I'm tempted since Skyway ejaculates all over it in as many threads as he can, but I kinda think it's not my cup of tea.

Another note: Magicka is now at a list price of $12 for the base game and all current DLC (Vietnam, the new Marshlands, and the Wizard hat stuff). If anyone doesn't have it should be a great bargain when the summer sale rolls around in about a month.

I'll definitely scoop up the DLC when the summer sale rolls around. Though the DLC doesn't sound that great. Apparently they're just challenge maps, not new campaigns or anything. Super short. Even though Vietnam's half the price it sure as hell isn't half the content.

I've only played a bit off an on with some bros and didn't have MAJOR issues. It's mostly fixed. Might get weird shit occasionally but you should be alright.

I definitely can't say for sure because I haven't played but I've been following the forums every week or so and it seems the game is mostly playable with the occasional bug. Assuming you'll probably be able to get it at least at 50% off during the big sale I'd say $6 for the whole package is worth the risk.

Gothic 2 gold on GoG for 2,50$ the moment, since it's pretty much considered by the Codex to be a very good rpg. It might be worth looking into if you're interested in playing the game since it most likely isn't getting cheaper than that unless you pirate. Well I managed to get Gothic 2 gold on steam for less than 2 euro, but that was only thanks to a pricing bug and I doubt that will come back any time soon.

Mount and Blade weekend deal, including 10% off the brand new one which I'm considering preordering because I loves me some Mount and Blade.

OH FUCK. IT ALSO COMES WITH TF2 HATS.

Edit: Preordered. Since Warband was some incline over the first I'm hoping the incline train continues. If not, I won't feel too terribly bad about $13. Especially since I might be able to sell HATS to make it cheaper.

It's only $2.50 if you buy all of the JoWood games. $4 if you buy it alone. Still a good price but, yeah, already picked up the pack on Steam earlier.

Yeah the TF2 people are already asking on the mount and blade forums about this free game that comes with their $15 hats! I'll probably pick up Warband or Vanilla -- I remember there was some debate about whether or not buying Vanilla was better because of some of the mods.
