3 million sales good or shit? Mostly giveaways?

Goose game, it needs a sequel or more DLC.
Oh the sweet sweet Goose Box!

The duck game is boring (collect ducklings and make your nest bigger avoiding speed boats and stealing duckies from other ducks).

Isn't Biomutant the next new Fallout/Outer Worlds game?

"Moving forward, Obsidian and Microsoft will be publishing future iterations in the franchise, and we're absolutely thrilled to see where they take it."

Well for starters you are going to have to add something more to the world than idiotically incompetent but amoral if not plain evil corporations who apparently have kill quotas vs optimistic left leaning idealists but who haven't exactly got a clue or incentive of their own to do anything of magnitude to rival or replace the corporations.

It's perfect... making a franchise out of a game that mocks corporate culture while also being made with money from one of the biggest corps in the world.

I think even Irony itself finds this one a little hard to explain, either we make it too easy or too stupid.

It's totally non-threatening to said corporations. Hence why they endorse woke culture: corporations bad... but not the corporations we work for, those ones are great, and enlightened! Now unfortunately we're going to have to cut your benefits, pay, and vacation days in order to fund the new Chief Diversity Officer.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.

It's all muddled in this day and age, TOW was on XB Pass, god only knows how many of those 3M copies are 1 dorra downloads from the Pass. I know I was one of them.

But regardless it seems the game did reasonably well any way you slice it. Problem is it was overhyped to all shit, it was marketed as the new New Vegas and people bought it. Apparently though most realized p. soon it's barely a pale shadow of New Vegas, that's why the hype died down fast and nobody talked about it a month after the launch.

TOW 2 will be a hilarious flop, just like PoE2 was.

The game was supposed to be the anti-Fallout 76. This was the reason of the initial interest and success after the train wreck of 76. Also trannies.

It's for the same reason that many cultures that had slavery had a special day when slave and master would reverse places. It's just to release the tension that had been build up for some time, so the slaves won't revolt.

You just know they will make it a direct sequel with the same protagonist, save transfer and 15 minute pre-intro, followed by 10 minute intro and 15 minute post-intro. After the game flops Cain will complain on Twitter that he doesn't understand why TOW2 flopped.

Well, at least this game's initial loot wasn't a dildo at every turn. I still shake my head at CP2077. Dildo's & Dykes.

The location was interesting, the contents and premise the least retarded and most Fallout-like and most connected to the rest of the game, unlike other DLC (lobotomites? some asshole who stole the weapon from Freedom Force's Minuteman? Fucking ghostmen and fog?), and 15 minutes of Graham was enough.

Eh, I suppose if you dislike the others so much then I suppose it makes sense.
But still, I found the location so boring after 5 minutes, the quests being nearly all about fetching something, and the setting not particularly interesting as it was mostly tribals killing each other.

Dead Money, on the other hand... that was fun.
OH LOOK EVERYONE, ITS AN AVELLONE CUCK

Let's hope that for the secuel they move as far away from The Outer Worlds™ as possible. Anywhere else would be better, as long as they have any other type of content besides COMPANY BAD.
Seeing what the Earth is like would be cool since I'm assuming the people there aren't all starving braindead morons like in the colonies.

Just go in the deep space, deeper as you can, ditch the COMPANY BAD and goofy humour.

Company bad and goofy humour aren't the problem, Obsidian's lack of talent when executing said concepts are the problem. TOW could have used any themes and it would still have been a terrible game because the people in charge of creating it are talentless.

Obsidian have proven time and again after FNV that they are a lame horse. If you give them all the resources they ask for they will still fuck up and get lost in their own overconfidence in how great ideas they have.

True but some variety would've done wonders for the game. It gets stale after the first planet and the game has like 4 of them.

That's fair, but it wouldn't change the fundamental problems that the game has
