My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Are you guys really going as low as hoping for Doom to receive poorer scores? You realize that poor scores and sales could mean that you won't see another AAA old school shooter like this anytime soon, and that publishers will stick to what they consider to be safe for FPS genre, in this case either more linear cinematic shooters like CoD or open world ones like Far Cry.
You mean more shooters in the style of Doom 4 instead of old-school shooters.

Nothing wrong with those easter eggs as they are not out of place and are not shoved in your face for cheap "lulz".

-Keens are part of a secret level

-Romero can't even be found without using noclip
Point is that cheesy easter eggs were still there, and that they felt glaringly out of place with the art style and theme of original, wherein some effort was put into making those from newest game blend in nicely with the rest of it.

Looks like reading comprehension is not your strong suit.
I could say that exact thing of you, given how you failed to understand my simple point for the second time in a row.
Hey man, can you pm me where you signed up on Beth's payroll? I'm willing to make a deal with the devil in order to keep getting crack and hookers.

Fuck off you shit shill. Croteam and Flying Wild Hog have been making this type of shooter as good or better for a while now on tiny budgets in comparison. If this game tanks it won't be any biggie. Even if this sells 10 million it will be forgotten in a year while the originals will live on.

Plus they're actually cool. Not some tired meme that only 9gag folks still think is relevant.

I wonder if Xbone / PS4 ports gained the same speed-up as PC version, if so... poor consoletards, now it's definately too fast to control it via gamepad and with no health-regen, there will be a massive butthurt because of difficulty.

I think reason for short campaign is that id wanted to see how will new Doom's gameplay overall be recieved in the public. Now, that is recieved very well my believe is we'll get longer expansion DLC.

the game looks fun enough to me but I can't get over the masked health and ammo regen mechanic (just keep shooting and don't worry about managing resources and not getting hit too much) and that while the action seems good, it doesn't reach the chaos of the better parts of doom (1, 2 and wads included).

A few steps in the right direction: back to the 90's

(I can't stress enough that the health regen, because that's what the pinata mechanic is, is unforgivable, unless it is switched off or something in nightmare which I doubt)

How do you know if it's not some /v/igrin from 4chan? If it's because he's got a facebook, there's quite a few memespewing faggots there.
What's a /v/igrin?
If one has been on 4chan long enough, you notice that they don't use the term 'channer' or any nickname to describe themselves site wide. Instead of identifying with the site they identify with the boards they mostly post on. The nicknames for each board has the letters for board itself wrapped in // just like it does in the URL of the board. For example, the /v/ board is the video game board, and since most people who play video games are going to die as kissless virgins, their called /v/irgins. The /k/ board is the weapons board, they're called /k/ommandos. /tg/ the table top games board is called fa/tg/uys.

When D44M started making mem'es and other sarcastic internet in-jokes as emotes for the main character, you know the game was fucked. D44M guy isn't a corny version of Duke Nukem, and to get it so wrong shows their lack of understanding or respect for the franchise. The Halo multiplayer didn't help either, just another cynical publisher that's 1 million miles away from the consumers they're trying to cater to.

It isn't utter shit but it is just a nerfed version of ole Dooms made for consoles kiddos, some lazy modders made better maps than those on D44M. I don't see the point of wasting money on this game if you are a Doom old timer, you won't see anything amazing that wans't better done on the past. It is a step on the right direction though, if this game sells well maybe they start releasing good FPS 20 years from now, the gamming industry works on baby steps, very slow baby steps.:M
