Harebrained Schemes released their epilogue for free. :)

Of course theirs didn't have a lot of additional work put into voice acting and cutscenes. Trespasser is more like a somewhat-shorter Flames of Vengeance (5-9 hours compared to 15-20) except the base game didn't have the gall to end on a bad cliffhanger ("never again" Swen's said).

The Codex's precious Underrail also ended on a cliffhanger with the promise of more content on the way, but who knows if Styg's going to charge money for it. :)

i just realized why I ignore your content. You're literally the most semantic-autistic poster on this site.

Why do you put everyone on ignore who is smarter tha- oh..

You were put on ignore because you kept bringing up PoE in every single thread, to the point where it was just retardation.
"Hey guys, so they announced a new shooter."
"NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS IT WONT BE AS BAD AS POE AHHHHHHHHHHH"
We get it bro. You were disappointed. You don't need to monkey that hard to fit in on the codex. :)

Proof the ignore feature does nothing. Oh and btw PoE Sucks.

Do the codex have a review for this game ? I highly suspect it's long and boring. I don't know where this intuition is from.

Codex 2014 PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Divinity: Original Sin Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Divinity: Original Sin 2
A summary of my thoughts on the game from somewhere in this thread:
-The Keep was a good idea, it would have been better if 95% of the choices did more than possibly give you a table mission
-The story is classic Bioware, ancient evil vs chosen one with your home base being destroyed in act 1, I did like the setup for this since the game acknowledges at a few points that you basically just lucked into your chosen one status
-Corypheus is the worst villain ever in a Bioware game
-The fortress you get in act 2 is criminally underused as a game mechanic
-The end of the game is incredibly rushed and the story missions vary greatly in quality
-"The vast majority of the game is spent running around large open areas mashing the v key, sometimes getting into fights with bears."
-They wasted most of their development time making huge open world areas and forgot to actually make them interesting, so they crammed in a mechanic to make you do shit in the open world areas to advance the story and just hoped that would make the game long enough to justify the price tag
-The companions are a Bioware mixed bag, some people like them and some don't, except Sara who is a massive cunt
-The combat is trivial when you have an effective build even on the highest difficulty

Overall it's better than ME3 but still like a 3/10.

I believe there's a free demo with 6 campaign hours and unlimited multiplayer. Or maybe you want to try the swedish demo? It had denuvo so I don't know if it's out yet.

I actually burst out laughing during the end of the prologue when Corypheus outright confirms that you've basically irreparably fucked up his whole plan for world domination by doing nothing but existing in the right place at the right time.

read the whole thing.
Beats playing DA:I.

Do the codex have a review for this game ?
Why even bother? Xor's post sums things up nicely. You could also watch RK47's letsplay.

The combat is unsalvageable. On easier difficulties it's literally "awesome button" (aka total faceroll). On Nightmare it's building guard and keeping barrier up. They mindlessly applied Mass Effect's formula but in ME you at least had to aim your regular attacks and take cover from incoming fire. In DA:I everything except guard and barrier is marginal and can be ignored. Despite all my hatred towards this game I re-pirated it after Trespasser - just to see if trials change anything. They don't. You're railroaded into specific builds (max guard/barrier generation + dispel) and that's it. DPS doesn't matter at all.

The story is shit. The writing is shit. Seriously the proverbial monkeys with typewriters could have done better in a reasonably short time. But what's really criminal is how weak and lifeless are the cutscenes. Not even close to ME2 and parsecs away from something like AC4. I mean if you can't make a decent game, why not at least make an entertaining interactive movie? Instead they apparently outsourced this part to bums who worked for food.

It's a rare example of a game where everything is just bad, just fucking lazy. One could argue that Oblivion and FO3 were failed experiments but DA:I wasn't even that. It's painfully obvious that nobody at BioWare even cared. They simply kept shoveling shit till they got a large enough pile.

I never finished this game but I heard that they released a DLC to finish the plot. I'm amazed that in this day and age, companies can get away with leaving their base storyline unfinished to sell more DLC.

Its equally amazing how many games sets themselves up for a sequel that never comes. Lovely, anachronox is a game I still have a bone to pick with.

The last paragraph in the review pretty much sums it up. You are lucky, I played for 35 hours expecting it to get better, finally giving up out of sheer boredom.

I see. Life is too short for DAI. I just wanted to be sure, DAO was good memory (romances aside). Hum, now that I think about it they were a way to make camping less boring.

This game was horrible. A BioWare "feature"-fest that somehow managed to be incredibly bloated and paper-thin at the same time. I don't know whether the fact I enjoyed Dragon Age II MORE than Inquisition says more about me or more about Inquisition itself -- but there you have it.

DA: I will actively cause you pain. Don't even think about -- much less PLAY it.

Thankfully I received mine as a surprise gift -- I never had to bear the burden of having spent money on this tripe.

It's something I'll never live down, man. Every time I look at my bank statement I'll think to myself "I would have had 40 more dollars and 10 hours of my life back if I hadn't bought DA:I"
Honestly, it makes me hesistant to even bother with Mass Effect Andromeda. I'll be waiting a good long while before I touch it.

I didn't like DA2 at all. After awhile, it got repetitive using same environments and backtracking. In DA:I there are some flaws for exploration resembles to MMO but the vibrant, larger world and story adds to the level of enjoyment. I'm only mad about UI, spell restriction and long loading times.

It's too bad Inquisition was actually alright, and we were getting to a point where discussion was actually happening again and then in came the gamergaters to remind us we all hate bioware again.
I'd say it was better than Dragon Age 2, if you ignored the incredibly boring side quests. I mean, if you did everything in the first area it was like a 25 hour experience. Ridiculous.
But I don't know if I'd call it alright. I'd say below average and not worth 60, or 40 dollars.
