No replies?

Wanted to ask what people thought of the game...for someone who hasn't played the originals or any SMB game and thus has no comparison point with the old physics or Monkey Target(which seems like the only thing people care about making me wonder about the game itself) because some reviews are all about stating the game is fine, but Monkey Target is different and the game feels different and not explaining if the game would be fun for...you know, a newcomer.

It kinda feels like every reviewer played and loves the original and thus the same point of "it feels a bit different" is repeated and yet all i want to know is, would a newcomer have fun with the game, does the game control well for someone who hasn't played the originals, is the game still fun?

It's a remake of two beloved niche games with added content and then DLC, i guess Sonic and Kiryu warrant not being in a cheap game too according to Sega.
