Jesus, I really feel ripped off now.

Guess I'm moving across the border to Spain whenever I'm about to buy something from Steam.

You'd need a cc from Spain for that to work

(And then it wouldn't matter which country do you buy it from)

Fuck you Valve, why no third world tier for South America? Wouldn't mind us latin users getting games $5 cheaper :rpgcodex:

At least I backed at $15 level so yeah, I hope they do a good job with the Berlin DLC.

Do you own the game already? If you look at it it will tell you exactly when it will unlock. I just checked and it says

1 day and 21 hours

I'm especially interested in that editor of theirs. Been reading Shadowrun Lore all day long and already have some ideas I'd like to realize with that nifty thing.

I'm aiming to make some missions along the lines of Neal Stephenson stuff (Snowcrash/Diamond Age) I think. I never really got the whole cyberpunk meets fantasy thing in Shadowrun. I'm hoping that I won't have to go to drastic extremes to remove the fantasy elements when using the editor. If the editor just allows you to build maps then that sorta blows.

I really hope the game won't suck.

I'm still not expecting much (but I am fairly certain I will enjoy it). At least it's a proper turn based cRPG unlike the shit the AAA publishers shit out now. But depending on the toolset as well as the modding community this could turn out really good. I really hope HBS support the modding community well. BioWare and Obsidian did a very good job of that with NWN and NWN2.

About to start reviewing Shadowrun Returns; color me "excited". Then color me my original color bc "excited" clashes with my eyes too much.

Funny he should mention color. :smug:

Playing Shadowrun Returns! Goddammit this game is soooo good! I love the graphics, artwork, dialogs. Our review will go live on the 25th.

Oh hey, some bastard decided to be "clever" by bypassing the review embargo with a (p)review:

I've been playing Shadowrun Returns. When you can, you should too. Here's some reasons why: http://calmdowntom.com/2013/07/should-i-be-excited-about-shadowrun-returns-pc/

Even though it's mostly positive, I hope Harebrained blacklists him.

the soundtrack is weak and incidental when I had hoped for thudding synths and epic retro-futurism.
Awwww.

Most worryingly, the autosave system is poor and the game saves so infrequently that you can lose a lot of progress. Thankfully this kind of thing can be easily fixed.
 No it caaaaaaaaaaaan't.

Don't we get access to the OC in the editor? So yes it caaaaaaaaan.
Individually placing autosave checkpoints in a 10-12 hour campaign, the opposite of fun.

Nope, they had trouble implementing a save system, so there's only a checkpoint system. IIRC it autosaves whenever you return to the Hiring Screen between missions or at handplaced checkpoints.
