Even as recent as Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio. The older ones can be emulated well, but Dreamcast emulation is crappy.

For what purpose? Crazy Taxi may have licensed music, but I can't think of any reason to delist all the Sega Classics short of trying sell those games in a different manner.

For their very own DRM-free website/store, clearly.

They should make their own proprietary hardware to launch it on exclusively. That’ll make them all the monies, what could go wrong?

Redream is useless now. Had sound issues with Crazy Taxi before and the newer versions lock high resolution behind a six dollar paywall.

Except for one micro-stutter, the game ran like a dream when I tried it in RetroArch minutes ago. Took me a good while to find where to change the internal render resolution. Hate the RetroArch UI. This is how I will play it the next time. On PC, the artwork on the character select screen is stretched, the score art is stretched and the end credits are not sepia but clear. Will also be nice to see all the licensed stores and hear the associated passenger requests again. I tried the widescreen hack, but it squished everything. It's fine. Have no problem playing in 4:3.

Too late in my day to check if the quality is consistent through a whole game of Crazy Taxi.

Use standalone Flycast.

Same as delisting old versions of games in favor of remakes, pisses off people for no good reason

*pissing off people for the chance at selling old games at a higher price to people that only buy things that were released in the current year.
Most people (normies) will tend to buy the newest version anyway thinking it is better, game company managers are just turds with no brains, like most managers

I guess it explains the remake/remaster craze.
Jet Set Radio sequel wouldn't have the high cost of AAA. No photorealistic graphics needed, no extensive voice acting, no giant open world, no complex combat. Improve the mechanics so that it's not just grinding in unbroken circle until just enough time left for final graffiti and make new maps. Still they opt for the remake. Says so much about the sickness of remake culture, of the publishers' idiotic spending and fear of failure that bores the players.

You can literally play these games in a browser after 0.1 second DuckDuckGo search. Here's Golden Axe:

https://www.retrogames.cz/play_037-Genesis.php

It's always the cucks who insist on paying for video games who whine when something gets "delisted". If someone actually wanted to legally purchase a digital version of a 1989 game my diagnosis would be severe retardation and my recommendation - euthanasia.

I never paid for a PC game in my life, don't have a "steam", don't have a "gog", I even pirate games that are free on steam. Try delisting my 422 active torrents, kikes.
