Uh, you do realize 2 of the 3 were in charge recently of the glorious masterpiece The Outer Turds, right? The two more well known ones, Cain and Boyarski. So your theory is that by adding Jason Anderson into the mix, and removing all oversight (Opa Kickstarter style), this will reignite their talents of the past?

Perhaps it would be safer for them to join Chris Roberts and contribute to the Scientologist Citizen instead.

That ain't true, TOW wasn't a bad FPS. It's Obsidian's Fallout 3.5.

Besides, Obsidian Entertainment ain't Troika. You can tell by Grounded.

Outer World showed they're incapable of hiring exceptional talent. When they were making good games, the industry had a lot of talented developers and this talent produced some great games in tandem with the 3 leads at Troika. But take today's "developers" (inept lesbo whales, vasectomied nu-male feminists, etc) and you get vomit inducing scheisse. What's worse, Tim at the very least is incapable of recognizing that, probably due to being a fag.

If you merged together the three flawed games Troika made you would get a good game.
that should be the kickstarter. a project that will combine ToEE, Vampire and Arcanum into one single game using Unreal 5
ToEE in 3D with a TPP option that is a V:tM:Redemption rip-off. Medieval into Victorian.
Please show us ONE game that has the level of tactical combat of TOEE with presentation like in Vampire Redemption.
Otoh, You could merge Arcanum with Vampire but what's the point?

Actually, if you merged just TWO Troika games you would get one of the best CRPG made.

BTW, it's not not "any two" but two specific ones.
you'd also get to around 100k sales
Why would i care about someone else sales? I wouldn't be a shareholder. I want a good game i'd like to play! Why people are so obsessed about someone else's financial results?

On another note, think Baldur Gate 3 sales, or even Pathfinders and rethink your statement. Leave (pseudo)-isometric alone, add bestiality (or better something new: necrophilia) instead of 3D if you want great sales.

Arcanum.
TOEE.
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Troika only needed three games to prove its creative strength, inspiration, dedication and commitment to making great games.
As I've said, it is probably better it ended this way...

Arcanum sold 234k units. Sounds like garbage today but that's pretty high for the era for rpg's. More units then system shock 2(60k), pst(73k), ultima 9(73k), darkstone(75k), revenant (37k), anachronox(40k), vtmb redemption(160k), fallout BOS(17K), silent storm(20k)

Toee sold 128k units, bloodlines sold 72k which is the game that really sunk them.

Did they even get points on sales? What do they care what the sales were, they just had to find the next contract and they didn't.

Harder to get a contract from a publisher when your product isn't guaranteed to move. There's always risk involved but sales trending downward 234 ->128 ->72. If those numbers were better, or in reverse someone may have been more willing to take the risk on their post apoc game.

You should probably watch Tim's video channel of which he hated running Troika (and all the bullshit it entailed as a studio) and is now much more enjoying his time making games.
