So if what they're saying is true the stuttering is caused by the Prey Game Ready Driver™

Lawl, if you have the original Prey in your library, this overwrites it. http://steamcommunity.com/app/480490/discussions/0/1327844097114154360/
Oh hey, the punchline to this ridiculous trend of rebooting single-installment franchises. Finally.

Not really overwrites it, both games kind of co-exist inside the same folder/directory. But it doesn't make one or the other unplayable, as the executables are in different folder structures.

"Rebooting" ANY franchise should be a death penalty offence. But doubly so if it's a single installment one.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Looks p good. Will wait till its 50% tho
Don't really want to say that, but... if everyone is gonna wait for 50%, Arkane may end up making the Avengers games.
eh yea, but my massive backlog is a pain plus bethesda dont do regional pricing which hurt sales in asia or eastern europe or latin america

I don't really want to nitpick, but not having a fov-slider for release is just weird. You can easily alter it from the config file, but EVERYONE knows that it's the first issue what PC players will bring up. Are the developers seriously playing the game with the default ~80 fov or so?

They do. Game costs *only* 34 dollars in Russia.
I also have a massive backlog of games, but as I grew older I realised that they are all shit and waste of time&$, so I have a lot of free time to play Prey until I eventually lose all interest and stop playing after beating 1/4th of the game.

It was twice less for a few hours when they opened preorders (1049 instead of 1999), which means around $18.

It might be the case of testers playing the PC version with gamepads, hence with a higher distance from monitor.

Bethesda has some truly retarded pricing in the region where I live - nuPrey costs 1/4th of a minimum wage. ONE FOURTH of minimum wage in a country where piracy is king.

I'd have bought it if it were around 35USD. Not at 70. I'll get it in a year at 50% off, maybe.

Bought the key from cdkeys.com so at least that site is working. They also give the preorder bonus (3 neuromods + a shotgun) which means that the beginning of the game is easier but it doesn't matter overall.

After ~5 hours I feel that the game is incline and it has the potential to be on par with SS2. I know that this sounds like blasphemy but it's that good. Open-world, no hand-holding besides tutorials, decent stealth and solid world design.

I did not play something like this in years. /back to lurking

I hold off from buying anything Bethesda these days purely on principle because it's always a better deal to just wait for GOTY instead of getting shekel'd with DLC. Arkane is already an offender with Dishonored in which case it still comes out cheaper to just re-buy the goddamn game in form of the complete edition instead of just two pieces of DLC I want. Not happening.
