Soooo what does everybody actually think of making pure damage casters? I'm worried that all casters in deadfire are relegated to support bitches and cc bots since melee seems to do so much more damage.

I don't know, but I doubt specs enter into it. Defiance Bay in Pillars had FPS drops regardless of your specs. I'm imagining this will just unavoidably happen in Nekataka no matter what.

I had no slowdown in Defiance Bay -- i7 4790k, 8GB DDR4 RAM, GTX780.

That cpu does not support ddr4 nice try though

You guys HAVE GOT to reveal your secrets to me - seriously. I really wanted Defiance Bay to play smoothly. I'll look in the graphical options for anything that might be relevant (feedback something? I guess I'll go check).

I saw a conversation between Eder and Xoti where he mentioned that his brother died after Raedceras invaded the Dyrwood and Xoti said "oh I'm so sorry". I wonder if there's a later conversation where Eder clarifies his brother fought for the Raedceran invasion
