He never liked the idea of the Stronghold in PoE if I remember right.

I thought the Brits persuaded the Greeks to tie themselves to the ancient Greeks instead of the Romans. They wanted a statelet they could control instead of one that would disrupt everything in the region.

Regardless, the drama and off topic conversations have given me enough cover and courage to change my avatar from the black elf monster to a Pillars 1 white elf (male).

I don't think he disliked the idea as such, but he didn't want to use more resources on it than absolutely 100% necessary to get it technically functional because he doesn't think players like strongholds. He went back on this later and they patched in a bunch of stronghold content

Not sure if even want to play this for free now. But I wonder what their new womyn lead written and also can't but wonder if there is something in it made by new blood with some passion. Is there new blood in their team, I wonder, who actually enjoy writing items and making dungeons and monsters and not just as a checklist for the future?
