I was watching your stream, but then as soon as you got out of character creation, it felt like watching a girl you like with some other dude (with a fat red haired dwarf). Couldn't cope, had to close.

I'm told dwarves have huge tongues.

J_C, Sensuki, and the rest, gonna do a quick preview of character creation and a little bit, as well as take requests for a few minutes to see how the setup is running

When you start the actual stream you should make a new thread for it so people who don't normally follow the beta thread can notice it :salute:

don't have to go into details, but since he started the game briefly after char creation was there no prologue that sets the stage with you starting where you do, or was that intentional to start like that? seemed kinda like poof now your here!

There was a BG style prologue in earlier versions. Maybe he skipped it real fast --ninja like.

Fun test, Anthony Davis.

Btw, who wrote the game's dialogues? (so I can blame if I don't like them)
Eric Fenstermaker is the creative lead for the project. I think like 5 people would have contributed dialog, but others know more than me.

I like him already

The music for that area is good. I had it disabled when I played through it because it uses the same registry settings as the beta.

Can someone tell Anthony on the chat that the video quality is fine, and is running smoothly and I have fucking terrible internet - so dunno what they're complaining about.

Stream regularly cutting out for me, but twitch videos have always been rubbish for me. Has he shown the stats of the companions, are they known yet?

Edit: He showed the stats in stream..those are some interesting layouts. The priest had low int and high resolve and I think the wizard has like 10 might.

Aloth's stats would have been good had they not changed Perception - currently those are 6 useless points, luckily I'm modding that.

Found a way to attach behaviour/story scripts to different character entities?
As in, make your own companions completely but attach story scripts from normal companions to them?

Or just change the stats of the companions..

Bester was looking into levelling them down to zero as well to completely rebuild them. Just having non retarded stat allocation is enough for me for now.

Bester is modding in an in-game character editor, and I was planning to modify Perception to grant +1 Accuracy and +3/4 Interrupt, and Resolve to +2 Deflection and +3/4 Concentration

Stats and Skills "should" be simple enough as there are integrated commandlines to change them. Race and classes seem trickier and, at least to me, just assigning their behaviour scripts onto custom made characters would be best though couldn't find it yet.
