Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I thought the are going to let us choose some of the important things that we did in PoE 1, instead they give me some presets like ''Everything bad'' or Benevolent soul crap and other useless choices that don't explain shit, what a bummer.

you should have both of those options

You can specify in exact detail the choices in the main menu under options. That being said, I don't like how when you make your decisions it doesn't tell you the narrative context behind them.

Go into the options menu to create a legacy or whatever they call it Set PoE1 Game Stats.

It's early days, but make sure to post if you find the Codex backer content. :D

Superpet and item. The former will probably be easier to recognize.

Where?

Main menu, options :P

Thanks, found the option, just thinking of playing the first game again put me in a mild depression.

Where?

you import your save/choices during the intro of the game, not in the menu.. the thing in the menu is for creating an import that you can use in the intro

Metascore 88 - one point LESS than PoE1. Maybe late reviews will change that...

Italians with the 73 review +M
let me see.

https://www.everyeye.it/articoli/re...deadfire-la-del-nuovo-gdr-obsidian-38661.html
so story is bad because fragmented in smalls isles, each isle feel separated and isolated from others.

game text is localized in italian
npc and companion are flat and unispired, nothing comparable to the deep of Madre Cordoglio (mourning mother)

character editor is improved, multiclassing is interesting and new, talent tree is cool.

a lot of exploration

companion characterization is worse than poe 1 (yep they repeat that in the review)

combat is the same, 3 wound before death.

level scaling is terrible, in particular when you meet groups of scaled up casters that spam high level spells.

engine and grapic is improved but optimization is terrible. memory leak after few hours.

cities are nice but level design is lazy. (quantity over quality)

game is shallow and repetitive, a lot of isles full of the same stuff, and disconnected from main story, exploring the sea is fun for the first 10-15 hours then become boring.

25 hours for main story double for explore all.

combat unbalanced and lack tactical elements.

game still have good and evocative moments.

I can't tell if they're butthurt that the combat is too hard or too easy.

seems like most reviewers are storyfags so they don't like deadfire compared to the first one story wise... but then they also say the first one had a 'good story' so I end up just assuming they are idiots

I liked the PoE1 story but I have no idea where some of these reviewers are getting the idea that it had "a sense of urgency" - the fact you're supposedly going mad/dying and merrily strolling along is one of the biggest criticism about PoE1 here.
