Sometimes you run into one of those fights where you can feel it was done by a sadistic designer. 10 high level rogue ghosts with crazy high Ref save and evasion. You cannot nuke them, they are immune to necro and enchantment spells and they are fast and surround targets, debilitate them and sneak attack them to 0 health fast... not to mention ghosts take half damage from all damage sources and are immune to non magical weapons (which includes many Kineticist blasts).
Thank god one of the tricks still worked. Summon lots of shit and confuse the AI while you take them down one by one with single target non reflex save attacks.
You can totally nuke them even without being specialist nuker with sirocco as well as some non obvious spells like sonic shout group and they take full damage from Force, so force bombs should kill them as well as Undeath to Death. I even did damage to them with stuff like firestorms or something similar and Evoker Flame Wall is alright too.
I killed them in the end by spamming Channel Energy with Tristian and my paladin. I don't use Alchemist and I never needed Undeath to Death so far so I don't keep it prepared. I didn't try Sirocco as my summon shit and use Channel Energy tactic worked. Sirocco is usually what I try once I don't have other options :D
And now with access to Deadly Earth with Kalikke only stuff immune to non magical attacks can even live long enough to provide any challenge. Deadly Earth is completely OP. I did try some Flame Strikes and shit, they all saved (and Tristian has spell focus evocation and both Elemental Focus Fire feats).

Now that I think about it, Tristian had Mass Heal prepared so I probably could have tried to use that one. I guess I will try that next time I run into a big bunch of ghosts (I expect chapter 6 and 7 dungeons will have them).

Unfortunately, the game lacks some of the options you have on the tabletop for dealing with incorporeals.

For instance, ghost salt weapons (temporary Ghost Touch salt/oil for weapons). Barbarians also get access to a rage power called Ghost Rager that lets them damage incorporeals as normal (in addition to getting a large bonus to touch AC).

Does the game even contain any Ghost Touch weapons? I don't remember seeing any.

Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
I am pretty sure the team who actually made the the game would have preferred to make it turn based
Curious fact: team who actually made the P:K, aka Owlcat, aka former Nival Interactive, does have at least 3 TB games in their portfolio - HOMM V and Etherlords 1&2. And Etherlords 2, no matter how old, ugly and badly written it is, probably most amazing game, from the purely mechanical standpoint, I've played in last 3 years or so. Crazy difficult too, so their hand is recognizable.

So, it is pretty easy to find out how TB-from-Owlcat actually looks like.

Magus has a weapon enchantment I think. That is only one I have seen.
There's also a dagger and an Elven Curved Blade (+4, +2 luck Attack bonus, Magical Beast bane) from artisans with the property.

And today, RPGWatch concluded their own Game of the Year Awards. PF:KM won as both Editors’ Choice and Gamers’ Choice for the best RPG of 2018:

Well, that's a nasty class. Why so much Strenght though? Rogue gets Finesse at level 1 and Finesse Training at level 3.

Didn't want to dumb any points in there in the beginning but it was tied to athletics and I wanted the character to be kind of good in that. Otherwise I would've divided it between CON and WIS

He would not be encumbered with 10 Str. In fact even 8 is fine, as soon going armorless will be best and 8 is more then enough for accessories and two light knives.

"If your kingdom is destroyed, the game will be over"

Kingdom?

Bitch I'm a level 3 noob having to camp 6 times in a cave just to recharge my attacks, what kingdom?

That's like telling a hobo: "If your Ferrari is scrapped, your life will be over."... OK...

8 Strength makes it difficult at the start, when you don't have access to Agile weapons. I went with 9 Strength on my main character and it was a pain in the ass.

As a Knife Master you get d8 bonus damage dice. Probably 2 attacks. You'll manage somehow with a party till level 3 and Finesse Training for Dex to damage. In fact I think I remember reading that if you disable exp sharing in the beginning areas, you can ding level 3 at Oleg's....

Not quite in my experience, but it's close. You can get to level 3 without any further fights (random encounters excluded) just by talking to the bandits at the ford and then exploring the hut area.

Dumping charisma might hurt though. There are situations where you can't depend on NPCs to cover for you with their persuasion skill, like in the throne room.

I guess it's ok if you have Sneak Attack dice. Otherwise, it's not so fun.

Persuasion, trickery and perception, i think, most important skills in this game. Character focused on them can get thousands upon thousands of XP with "Only skill user gets XP" difficulty option. This way I easily hit lvl 6 (almost 7) at CH1 and lvl 20 at the and of CH5, always using full party. It is amazing for casters or any other heavily level-scaling class, like kinetics.
Also, with "Only active compaions get XP" off, other party members "synchronize" to MC from time to time, mostly when they temporarily leave party by the quest reasons.
One of this "synchronizing" points at the start of the House, so full level 20 party for endgame. Very nice on Hard or Insane.

How long is this insanity of a game?! I've now entered Chapter 3 after 65 hours.

And chapters are quite juicy as well.

Feels kind of unreal nowadays when you get a delicious quality product like that + such a nice amount of content.

Ok, this one is infuriating the compulsive in me: when you explore but then don't visit an area of the world map for a while it starts to hide itself again, and does so with ugly looking blotches. Ugh. For a while during the 1.1 patch it did not do this and it was great, but now it's back to this shit. Does anyone know if there is a setting or a mod to stop it from doing that?

Another option is a human dex based Sword Saint. You get Weapon Focus for free and you can pick Finesse and Slashing/Fencing Grace at level 1.
Would also work with human fighter based duelist-type character, I guess.
More combinations could do it at level 2.

I was horribly unimpressed with DEX based Sword Saint. Damage is bad, AC, even with all buffs, not enough to make him "untouchable" in ch1 when game is hardest, and too MAD to put some precious points to CON. Crazy dependent on Mirror Image, but penalized with less spell slots for questionable melee gains. SS is not flat-footed often (no Uncanny Dodge on tank!) thanks to class feats, but when he is - he is roadkill.
Eldritch Scion with some good bloodline and 1 lvl Scaled Fist dip for +1 full bab attack, 2-handing quarterstaff and power attack, was endlessly more useful offensively and not much behind in AC comparing to Sword Saint, since Mirror Image is the only thing keeping him alive and Scion has more lvl 2 spell slots.
Arcane bloodline is extra nice for giving access to Sense Vitals at lvl 9.
Impressions from playing on Hard.

Well, I haven't played a SS on hard, but on Challenging it was indeed possible to stack defenses high enough to be near untouchable in Acts 1 and 2. Damage is indeed a little weak early on. Except you can burst quite a bit with Spellstrike and Perfect Strike. Of course I did dip Monk and raised Wis. Con... I don't remember.. 12 or 14. Mirror Image is neat to avoid wolf trips on 20 and for boss fights - pretty much no other opponents can hit you on anything else then "20".
But it WAS a group effort. Cat's Grace, Owl's Wisdom, Blur from Wizard, Shield of Faith from Priest, later Magic Vestment. Reduce person self-buffed. After buffs had a few more AC points then Valerie. Plus Mirror Image. The gap quickly rose and AC was over 40 early in Act 2. I could tank the Undead Cyclops from Silverlake at level 6 I think (and get Slicer scimitar before tackling Troll Trouble :) ).
