From Tokyo RPG Factory. Previously they made I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear.

Extremely skeptical after the terrible (and absurdly easy) I Am Setsuna and the insanely generic Lost Sphear. Would love to be proven wrong though.

Both of their earlier games, and this trailer, looked very B-grade to me: a story that aspires to FF-style epic CRPG but less slick and cool, for example. This one also looks the same?

Their first two games were traditional and turn-based and were failures, no one cared, so now their 3rd game is REAL TIME ACTION shit.

If this game of theirs sells now, it will simply be proof-positive to them that turn-based is "dead". :(

Prolly gonna wait for at least 30% discount. In spite being AA level SE charging 60 bucks for Tokyo RPG Factory titles are insane. Still probably gonna play it.

It's a pity they moved to real-time combat. Sales of their first two JRPGs were abysmal, so much so that for the 3rd game they had to try enticing casuals with button-mashing combat.

Pity.
