I am going to make a small review of the Legendary ships.
Legendary Galaxy.
Its a boring upgrade to the T6 Galaxy that itself is a very boring cruiser, its not the worst but its boring.
Legendary Oddy.
Same as a Tac Oddy with a weirder layout and also a strait upgrade to be a full Command ship with ONE Command station ... and a hangar slapped on it and can use dual cannons in case you want to do that.
Legendary Warship Voyager
What the fuck? whats this? MW science ship and pilot? Hangar? WHAT?
Weird ship, no idea what the hell is this ... more to the point, it have a 6th Science console and lack of actual tactical abilities that means this is a weird as hell science ship having perhaps the STRONGEST of console layouts but being stuck with plain science to use ... I guess you can slot wierd crap like destabilize warp core for fun and giggles.
Legendary NX.
As the Galaxy is boring, the NX is a "Temporal escort" meaning its crap at being a escort and its crap at being a temporal ship, there are major defects with this ship as it cannot function properly as a escort or can even function as a hald assed science ship.
Legendary Kelvin Connie.
This is a solid battlecruiser, 5/3 so already gets into the big boys club with 4 tactical consoles meaning as a cruiser its on the "not missing a slot or two" club and the layout is solid ... this is actually a good ship with a clear idea of what it wants to do and be able to do it.
Legendary Sovy.
This is a strait upgrade over the Sovy ... full MW, 4 tactical consoles + 1, eng/pilot along a non-self defeating BO layout that makes it a very capable ship on its own and like the Kelvin Connie doesnt have the NX identity crisis so you know what to do with it.
Legendary Sisko Pimping Hand.
Like the Legendary Sovy was a strait upgrade, the Chad Warship Defiant is a strait upgrade over the Virgin Escort Defiant ... full Pilot that granted aint much but at least its not self-defeating Temporal and Pilot Maneuvers are still good, the layout is also pretty strait over what you do with it, loses the Experimental Weapon slot and gains a extra forward weapon slot (4/3/1 to 5/3) that is not exactly much of a loss with Experimental Weapon being the mixed bag they are.
Legendary Crossfield.
This is a very simple ship, do you like SciTorp? This is the SciTorp ship doing everything a SciTorp should do ... CF3, full Temporal so that sweet aux configuration for more exotic damage. Its a upgrade over its Lock Box counterpart since Temporal is better that Intel and all its specialization stations get a +1 so full Temporal and Lt Cmdr Command over Lt. Cmdr Intel and Lt. Temporal. One of the best ships in the game that can go to a rather specific role without being stuck with a drawback .
Legendary Connie.
This ship sells the pack period. Its The Connie, not the bloodly B,C,D,E or F and not the J ... the original, Kirk's ship.
But how worst is it compared with the Promo version? Well ... Its full MW so a extra console slot instead of Temporal thats not really useful for a cruiser and MW abilities are also better, they are VERY similar with the following differences ... It have +10 power to Weapons/Shields/Engines vs +5 to all so better that the Promo, now instead of having Lt Cmdr Tac/Cmdr Eng/Lt. Cmdr Uni x2 with the Cmdr being Temporal and one of the Uni being Command it have Lt. Tac/Cmdr Eng/Lt Eng/Lt Sci/Lt Cmdr Uni with the Eng stations being MW so no dual spec ... and this is wierd to say but I think its slighglty better because overall you end up using that Uni as Tac and the MW abilities are going to work rather well and another thing, its 4 stations vs 5 and that extra Bridge Officer could have traits that overall closes the gap in performance even closer, the other two differences is turn rate being slightly less (10 vs 11.5) and 4/4 vs 5/3.
Its close, its damn close ... MW offsets so much and if not for that 5/3 I would even say the Legendary would be better but 4/4 hold her back to the point I say its close ... real close and MW still makes the ship better simply because Temporal aint for cruisers and Command simply doesnt offer much, granted it can use stuff like CF3 but MW can do so much.
Legendary Donnie.
Remember what I said about the NX? apply it to Cruisers and thats it ... unlike the Connie were its close, in this case this ship is flat out worst entirely.
The layout is worst because Promo have a Lt Cmdr Tac, this have a Lt Tac meaning you know what you going to use your Lt Cmdr Unt/Temporal for and that leaves a Ensign uni for your second Eng station as the Promo have to use its Uni for Sci since their only Sci station is Ensign its not as if they cannot use it their Lt Cmdr for PO, I suppose people can argue that the decisions are in reverse in terms of cooldown management but quite frankly you get a worst way to do it on the Legendary Donnie that in the Promo and thats not even considering one is Temporal as the other is MW/Command ... oh but it doesnt end here.
As the Connie gets very close stats wise with 4/4 being the biggest downgrade, in the Donnie case to start with the good news ... it have 1.3 vs 1.25 Shield Modifier and that is the good news, worst turn (7 vs 9) as well lower inertia (35 vs 40) and lower impulse (0.16 vs 0.18), console slots is about the same as since its Temporal and not MW so no extra console slot as other wise its same Tactical slots (3 so its not complete crap but then again, its almost complete crap) with 4 eng and 4 sci vs 5 eng and 3 sci with that meaning it gains a whole extra sci console to be slightly better at failing to be a science ship.
I know I didnt talk about the NX much but that is because one look and you know that those Temporal stations are crap and the NX does have other issues (its BO layout is utter crap) but if you look at its Lobi variant you notice you at least get a full Temporal ship instead of a Not-Pilot/Not-Temporal ship, its a "upgrade" that is simply bad because the ship suffers for it, you really have to work around it but its possible even if its not going to be at the same level as other ships in the pack, also I didnt talk much about the Sovy, Konnie, Defiant and Crossfield but that is because they are very solid ships offering more or less a clear idea of what to do with then, basically they dont really have pitfalls and I didnt compare the two Kelvins because they are actually very different ships in their roles despite being cruisers with one having less hull and shields but more turn, impulse and inertia to the point its not a upgrade/downgrade in the sense the other Connies are, Galaxy and Oddy are simply basic upgrades to the point its like their base ships with full command with Warship Voyager just being ... really fucking weird to the point I just write it off as "science ship with 6 science consoles" because I have no idea what the hell to do it with, at least its not like the NX and Donnie were I just shake my head and ask "why?" with the Donnie being so much worst that makes me wonder how the Connie actually passed with so slight downgrades compared.
Overall ... I say this, Legendary Connie does sell the pack since its one of the if not the most recognizable ship and its actually not strait inferior to its promo version, might be slightly worst or slightly better but they are close and then you have other well performing hero ships such as the Defiant were they pretty much given her what people wanted it to have (5/3 and Pilot Maneuvers) or the Konnie that ends up being a very different ship that its counterpart with the boring upgrade of the Galaxy and Oddy as the NX being a "upgrade downgrade" with the Donnie is flat out worst being simply a "flight deck cruiser", its not the best value for money on the game but I am sure they knew if they put the Connie on the C-Store even if it had the "Legendary Donnie stats" (and it doesnt) it would sell, if you are a Discovery fan at least you have a actual upgrade on the CRossfield over its Lock Box version so you dont have to deal with the Donnie idiotic stats and if you are a Enterprise fan you kinda fucked since the NX requires work to get it to work even as a escort with its stupid Sci heavy layout, TNG are still stuck with the Galaxy being a boring cruiser but at least you can BUILD a boring cruiser and everyone else gets better version of their ships besides the Kelvin Timeline were you get something different but still solid thanks to its 5/3 layout or in the case of Voyager fans you get a really ass weird ship that I cannot even tell if its good or not, then again its not like the Pathfinder was particular good being about as old as first T6 ships and you can do wierd shit with it unlike the NX that can only fail at being a Temporal ship.
