When Oblivion was released, Daggerfall was nearly 10 years old. Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

Too bad we've hit "the graphics are better but not leaps and bounds better" phase.

Ah, yes, Oblivion. I wanted to play the Shivering Isles one day. The problem is that it's still Oblivion.

I played Oblivion for about 20 hours on a shitty computer till the computer broke and I lost everything. That was 5 years ago, I reinstalled it last year but ended up playing Gothic 3 instead.

I enjoyed poisoning arrows and firing them in an arc to take out goblins. On the downside... talking mini-games.

This game was a work of art in the way that it took even the most basic concept of killing bad guys in dungeons and completely remove every trace of fun from it. This was my 'awakening' and now I realise that everything is shit. Thanks, Oblivion.

Maybe this milestone will allow for Bethesda devs to come back to the Codex and iLoveOblivion.com will be freed!

When England hosted the Football World Cup in 1996 the English World Cup song for that occasion contained the line "30 years of hurt".
For Oblivion it's now 10 years of butthurt.

Oblivion traumatised me for life. I was but an innocent teenager. Are there any support groups for Oblivion survivors?

I play Morrowind, I play Skyrim but Oblivion is the one TES game I just can't get into.I have barely 10 hours logged in and I havent touched it in months. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm playing on a french version; the dubbed voice-acting is absolutely putrid, and the translation has obviously been made by a teenage intern.

You need to play Daggerfall as well to make your shunning of Oblivion more complete.

Tried Daggerfall, was unable to figure out how to swing my sword, died. Apparently I'm too smart for Oblivion, bit not smart enough for Daggerfall. So I play Morrowind.
