The gifts aren't really that a big amount of Lights anyway, since you can turn in Stars aplenty.

Attacks from stealth aren't auto-crits (combat advantage, actually), and I'm not sure if permastealth is even possible or feasible anymore.

While I am not sure what build Silver Sam uses, my Rouge-Potato always crits from stealth as I found out during an extensive holiday with the Zulkir of Tourism.
Combat with TR pretty much plays like this now:

- approach enemy
- enter stealth
- yell: SNEAK ATTACK BITCHES!!!oneone
- Blitz -> multi crits, trashmobs dead
- Shadow Strike -> stealth is refilled
- enter stealth
- yell: SNEAK ATTACK: THE SEQUEL (bitches)!!!!!oneone
- Lashing Blade -> OMGDMG

IF there is even anything alive at this point:

- roll around a little and throw daggers/pick nose until stealth has refilled
- enter stealth
- yell: SNEAK ATTACK: THE PREQUEL (bitches)!!oneone
- stabbitystabstab until stealth-time is over or a just fire a daily

IF there is still anything alive at this point... buy some better equipment ffs.

- start again at the beginning

The guide writer uses smoke bomb in place of LB, but dazing is not needed unless enemies are stronger.

And yeah, Lashing Blade from stealth with First Strike deals retarded damage, and if that's not enough then Shadow of Demise will finish them off.

Blitz, Smoke Bomb are great against groups, I massacred some monsters on the ice lake with that.

I myself prefer Path of the Blade to Blitz because it runs on auto-pilot so I have more time to just do my own thing. And yea, Smoke Bomb is a must because it's a great control effect AND deal respectable damage.

Personally I don't use First Strike because unless its description doesn't actually mean what it says it means. I stick to Tactics and Advantageous Position (pretty handy now that you stealth often).

The main reason for exchanging gifts is the chance to get gift bags instead of lights anyway, which are just another gift box. AFAIK they count towards the "boxes opened" count, so everyone except me seems to have gotten cocks and other purple companions out of it.
That reminds me: I THINK I got another shadow furry mount out of it, does anyone without a purple pony need a fancy ride?

Purple pony'd be sooo sweet. (I'm still on white )
I was on vacation and missed out on most of the sweet stuff anyway. Thanks to our little gift party and wildslops incredible generosity I at least got a mimic and sprite out of it.
If I got a purple mount now, too...well, I'd feel like Christmas

Oh I am sorry if I made you false hopes: the wolf is only green. I meant it in a "those who already have a purple pony won't ride anything less, so they won't need it" sense. But you can have the green ride if you want, it would sell only for less than 50k or so. And it looks stylish.
Purple mounts go for 500k right now for the metal lobster IIRC. But one would be crazy not to buy the Cleverider as an account unlock.

Edit: fucking server maintenance robs me of one box per char. CRYPTIC!

Not to derail things, but could somebody put together a Hellbringer SW build for me to take a peek at? I enjoy the Soulbinder and all that, it's just that I have an obsession with knowing everything there is to know about a class, and whilst I have some ideas of what'd make a good Hellbringer... it helps to compare those ideas to those of somebody who understands the game far better than I.

PS: Thanks for all of the gifts. I promise to farm for them every single day next year so that I might return the favour.

Green is faster than white of course. 50% faster than white to be exact. Blue ponies are 80% faster than white, and everybody's favourite purple pony even 110%.

And unless I am mistaken, the event offically runs until 10am PST, that's in about 10 minutes. So theoretically I would have had 30 mins left, but I guess the maintenance removed the area anyway, so it's a moot point.

You are... correct. That's odd, I could have sworn the boar was faster than a white pony. Huh. So they are only for show? Meh, that sucketh.

The color only indicates rarity, even if you upgrade a mount it will still stay the same color. The Stormraider actually used to be blue even though it's a rank 3 (it's possible that it being rank 3 was a bug).

Don't think it's restricted. IIRC it's just "follow the zerg to idle at 2 heroic encounters on the map" and "craft shit to get a speshul currency back" anyway.
