Hm, they actually dropped the value of processed smithing goods.
So you no longer able to turn a profit from smelting weapons into iron ingots.
That's understandable, but why would an iron ore be worth more than an ingot?

In my view, an ingot should be worth more than ore, and the finished product should be worth more than its input materials. It's rather silly to do this any other way.

I think the random war declarations are supposed to be part of the main quest. Even my own kingdom declares war randomly.
I think it's simply because there is no diplomacy, so random wars are a quick and dirty fix to make wars happen at all.

For now my game does not have that problem, the prices seem correct.

After several weeks exploring the current state of the game, the battles become interesting with 100 units in my party. Although you cannot be a mercenary with so many troops without abusing the economic system.

I noticed one of the nobles actually got KILLED.
There was no notice about this and I sure as hell did not behead him since it was a new game.
So..incline?

I also managed to charm one clan into defecting from Vlandia to Battania.
Only to have them to defect back to Vlandia a few months later.

Another demanded a bribe that I could not fulfill even after offering everything I have.
That's a quite interesting Charm mechanic going on there. I hope they can add more options like a secret truce or maybe the head of some noble can be a bargaining chip.

Also, Khuzait declares war on Battania - without any bordering territory to contest.

They had to ride for months before reaching us. By the time the army arrived, the cohesion hits zero and they had to disband.

Didn't stop one of the top clansmen burning influence to gather a 1,600-strong army to 'patrol' the countryside.

 I also caught 2 of their hired merc warbands starving apparently. As they kept losing unit and left just 1 , their leader.
I let him have the 20 arrow-salute when combat starts.

Prices seem correct in my game, and the Tier 4 two-handed swords are worth a shitload of money. I literally got rich by selling like two or three tier 4 falchions that takes wrought iron to be made.

I don't mind the actual fighting of those looters. Catching them first is what I hate. All those tiny groups of them. Buzzing around my villagers, like a swarm of flies around a pile of feces.

Oh, and don't tell the rabble I said that. With the constant food shortages they might take a dim view of adding insult to injury..

A lot of items still seem ultra rare in shops. Even "fixed" as Taleworlds claim.

I never seem to find good 2h weapons or high end armour for sale. Getting good gear mostly seems to be a case of getting lucky with loot, or getting lucky with arena prizes.

I agree. Although I have found decent 2-handers many times now, but it seems so damn random. I'll go into one city, and they'll have a ptichfork and a kitchen knife, 3 head wraps and some rags. The next one over has 20 pieces of armor and weapons in the 2000+ range.

Is every kingdom leader suidical moron? or I'm just unlucky

The Battanians do seem to be quite aggressive from what I've seen. Dunno whether that's purely RNG or some sort of leader personality mechanic.

I'm getting fucked into the dirt by food shortages at garrisons. Is there really no way to simply give them food? I have plenty of cash.

Am I missing something?
Protect their villages if you want them to have more food. Short term sell your extra food to the local trader.
Also don't have too big garrisons.

One of my caravans got captured for the first time. The guy has escaped now and he's hanging around in some town. Do I need to go collect him? Or will he get the fuck back to earning by himself?

Yes, you must go but you will not pay again.

Is there anyway to find out who the caravan was arranged with? It never even crossed my mind to make note of that, but I fucked up
