:what:

What's the fucking point of this? Next gen doesn't care about M&M. Old fags will probably hate it (popamole etc.). So why fucking bother and rape the franchise? o_O

Same reason why it happened with every old franchise rape ever. Math apparently says that brand recognition, as minor as it may be considering this generation has no idea what it's about, is going to get them more money than going with a new IP.

Then again, April 1 is coming so there's still some hope left.

Ubi are not the worst people around. And M&M was probably one of the most accessible dungeon crawler series. So X might turn out quite an enjoyable good-for-what-it-is popamole RPG.

pax east = furries and kotaku. and penny-arcade.

doubt it will be anything of interest. if it's for PC/nextgens... I'm expecting a single-character RT arpg. I can imagine that Ubisoft guy going "ech guyz we need ze skyrim gamez ja??"

if it's turn/party-based... ipad game for the masses.

They do make PC exclusives, quite a few actually. But it's incredibly unlikely that this is a proper M&MX.

Rather amateurish to misspell the name Migh and Magic.
