They better give us the RD and stop jerking us around. The chicken hat thing on Christmas was like Kojima punching us in the face.

Men. September First video games will be completely solved... nay, all human artistic achievement will be solved. Nothing will ever compare. Except for maybe torment 2.

Good. That's late enough in the year that they can't use the excuse that it came out too early to be remembered for GoTY, which it will rightly deserve (as far as AAA games go). There will be that one boss fight in this game that is more challenging, clever, and mechanically interesting than the entirety of Twitcher, Uncharted, or Bateman (the only real comp). The animation is so on point that if you told me they slipped a real-lfe Navy SEAL some super soldier serum and mo-capped the results, I would believe you. Then there is the trademark attention to detail, 4th wall breaking, humor, idiosyncratic Kojima-ness, emergent play. And it's an open world game, AND narrative driven, AND it has optional hand-holding shit for your average reviewer's competence level?! Man, that's checking off all the boxes. It should be a shoe-in for the gamejourno who doesn't have their head up their ass.

To paraphrase what someone I follow on YT once said in response to his less intelligent opposition "KojimaPro are veterans in this game. They report to camp late. You rookies report to camp early."

I don't know what is so funny. It will be the last Kojima Metal Gear ...
...this year :troll:

It was a cool inerview though. It was nice seeing Kojima's point of view on the development of the game. It seems Snake will be a much more silent protagnist, with less talk. It was funny to hear that Kojima thinks that games should break away from movies. :D Meanwhile he designed games with 10 hours of cutscenes.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before here, but I've seen a theory that suggests that David Hayter didn't voice Snake because he's going to voice Snake.

Solid Snake, that is. With the final boss fight of the game putting you in Solid's point of view and has you kill Big Boss, ala the final boss of Metal Gear 2.

C'mon, you do know that KojimaPro can't afford Kiefer if he has to give Big Boss' MG2 speech to Snake, right?

Adamska "Special" Handgun? I hope it's not that Mateba-like revolver shown in MGO3 and actually is special, as in a real-life gun... ;)

Yeah. Like all those theories that every Metal Gear after MGS1 is a VR mission. And Chico is Quiet.

Every Metal Gear fan should take a class in drama and scriptwriting. Maybe Kojima should as well.

September 15 for PC then. Could be worse but two weeks seems like they're just sitting on it for the sake of Sony and Microsoft.
