It's a strategy game. You pick a hero, summon monsters, capture towers, and try to beat the enemy. Dark Wizard for Sega CD is very similar.

MrRichard, have you ever heard of that game, Mugen no Shinzou? It looks super intriguing. It's really astounding to see the art that a PC-88 was able to display in 1984.

It is a trilogy and apparently the further two games are an improvement. It seems right up the Codex's alley. It basically seems like Ultima clones.

Are there differences from the Genesis version?

The scenarios are different and also you can create and share your own map creations. Also this has the expansion disk maps included with this which are not on the genesis version.
