I'm still learning it but it's definitely the closest thing we've gotten to OG Overwatch since OG Overwatch. If you had fun playing Overwatch back in the day this is a must.

Who is your favourite hero so far?

I only played as Black Widow so far but she seemed really good (I work 10 hour shifts so I don't get much playtime during the week. Tonight I let my buddy play it and he messed around with roughly half the cast. Everybody he tried seemed useful except for Spiderman. i'm not sure what his role is? All the other melee characters seem way better. Punisher and Wolverine were fun to watch. He sucked at the game so it's difficult to say but Wolverine looked like the most fun. I'll be able to answer this weekend when I can spend alot of time with it.

I'm quite enjoying this slop right now actually. I don't think I'll be playing this in a month, but it's alright for flavor of the month.

I only play Loki right now.
His kit works like this:
Loki fires a projectile that either heals allies or does damage to enemies. It's not very strong by itself.
Loki can spawn up to two stationary Loki clones anywhere within line of sight that turns to fire projectiles at whatever you're aiming at alongside you. This effectively triples your damage or healing output.
Loki clones can be teleported to
Loki can turn invisible, leaving behind a clone
Loki can summon a glyph that spawns on all Loki clones that does extremely high burst healing and damage-to-heal conversion, making allies basically invulnerable for about 5 seconds.
Loki's ultimate ability makes him transform into the target hero and use all their abilities including ultimate
Also he can backstab with melee but it sucks and nobody uses it

This character is quite fun to play despite being a healer because of how difficult it is to die, and how amusing it is to watch an enemy waste abilities on a expendable clone that can be respawned immediately. I find burst healing and temporary invulnerability more interesting and impactful to the game than having a healing aura.

This is not purely a Disney issue, lets be honest Marvel comic books in general have sucked for a long time maybe since the late 90s. The format is unsustainable and the MCU is only suffering becasue they are starting to adapt the shittier stuff especially all the stuff around Kang.

Abnett/Lanning's cosmic saga, Busiek/Nicieza's Thunderbolts, Busiek's Avengers, Brubaker's Captain America, etc. Sure there was plenty of shit like Civil War being put out, but that doesn't mean there was a shortage of great comics coming out of Marvel in the 00s. Anyone saying otherwise is either arguing bad faith or talking out of their ass.

I don't enjoy Punisher MAX. It's fine. It's absolutely what it wants to be, and I'm not the sort of person who approves of complaining that you disliked something when it was correctly labeled, but Punisher MAX is just not for me at all.

I read Irredeemable Ant-Man 20 years ago. I remember thinking it was okay, but not much more than that. Maybe I'll give it another read through.

It’s late sorry, I’m also partial to ultimate X men but everything else in ultimate not so much, Punisher MAX is fine to me Ennis understands punisher to me, and the I really like irredeemable antmans suit, eric truly is an asshole though but I love him for it.

There's also the 2005-2010 mini-series-series of Power Pack. Of course that's about characters who were (one special issue aside) treated very horribly in the 90s (we finally created new characters this side of Vietnam War people actually liked and could hold onto a series! Let's toss them to people who have absolutely no idea what to do with them and use art teams that draw them looking older than their mother).

I am playing Luna Snow and Mantis as healers and they both remind me of Zenyatta which was my favourite healer in Overwatch
They both have healing and damage capabilities and their ults are auras that heals people around them.BTW I believe these two are considered the best healres in the game right now

Chink devs are work horses as apparently we are getting 2 more new heroes and a battlepass in January 2025 and 3 new maps.

Seeing as how also hero development is arguably streamlined with the designs/characters already existing it eliminates a part of dev time
