treave, I wonder if we can work on the memory-wipe spell regardless? Given the diplomatic prowess of Erdrick and his goons, this could prove tremendously useful. :M

Ok, Nevill convinced me. Flipping to BA>BB>BC

Wait what colour are prisoner eyes?

The colour of shit.
You mean shiiiiieeeet.

treave, what about Rin's eyes? Do they grow back quickly? Would she be willing to make a donation? It's just...I can't stand the idea of ruining the girl's appearance. I mean, every time we look into her eyes, we'll be looking into the shit eyes of a man...

You could, but it'd only be used on women. Men get the "hit them in the back of the head" technique. :M

Erdrick is a feminist. :M:M

Well, a male-feminist in that he secretly wants to screw women but is utterly unable to.

Erdrick confirmed as being a brown-eyes hater. He should check his melanin privilege. :rpgcodex:

Not that we have been told what his eye color was before his trannysformation. Now I like to imagine his are slowly but surely becoming red and/or violet as his "Angelification" advances.

EDIT: Hey Nevill, what's the current vote tally? If you don't mind doing so.

I never tried to. Really. I don't know what's better.

If we can develop a somewhat good relationship with Ellen and ask her to keep quiet about Zayan, for her sake (she's the one who helped her restore her sight - the gratitude factor could work here), I think we'll be in the clear.

However, we are taking a risk by leaving her with her memories intact. Then again, if she remembers us and has a positive impression, she could be our line to Wist and Leila (read - Farland) if they haven't written us off as a murderer yet. It might be of use.

There are many factors to consider in this decision, and most of them are unknown to us. A half-blind choice, heh.

You could, but it'd only be used on women. Men get the "hit them in the back of the head" technique. :M
Couldn't care less. :M

Edit: moving tally to this post.

Well, it was a combination of you and E. The fact is, those eyes could be useful and I have a feeling that regardless of what we pick, either we will use them or someone else will. They may even be our ticket to hacking the universe down the road.

I get the reference about the red eyes, but what is that about violet ones? What angels have those?

Sounds cool.

You could, but it'd only be used on women.
Also it would be a great way to cheat on dates. We can finally ask Wist about her sexual compatibility preferences and dodge the consequences!

And Codex is all about dodging the consequences.

None in the original show at least, it's just that white hair and reddish/violet eyes are "common" traits of those suffering from albinism. While these traits may make you have an unique appearance, you suffer from a severe sensitivity to light and you'll look weird, understandably enough. Of course, that doesn't stop fictional characters (especially in anime) to have "fake" albino traits but with none of their disadvantages. One example would be Hunter X Hunter's Killua, who has white/silver hair along with violet eyes, if I'm not mistaken. The Cadians from Wh40k tend to have violet eyes as well.

TL; DR: Because they generally look cool. That's it.

By the way, how exactly is Erdrick planning to send the letter to Ontoglia? By quickly teleporting back to Ellen's room and leaving it on the table? Or by sending Lucy and/or a random goblin here?
I'll assume it's the former, but he's lazy enough to do something unorthodox, just so that he doesn't have to make an effort if he can help it.

Erdrick is a feminist.
Looking at our entourage, it does seem that way. Rin, Aria, Zayan, slimes, even Lucy. Almost all of our companions are female. Tough luck with BRObatos, though, but we are looking into ways to get rid of that... aren't we?

So... how does Arlin fit into all of this? Can we expect him getting offed soon? He ruins the mood. :M

Arlin can be a trap. Put a dress on him and comb his hair and I am sure he can give Aria run for her money.
As for male companions there are goblins, but our favorite is the intellectial goblin academic, but weak and small Runde.

Meanwhile Honorable Robust was pushed as soon as we were able and doomed to be suicide troop and boss didn't even get a chance.
Does even Fortunio even count here?

Not our closest follower. I hope he gets himself killed with Rin's help so that we can finally replace him with a pirate princess.

Really, though, all these thugs, thieves and scum, but not a single Bandit Queen? Methuss is starting to disappoint.

“Yes, does Fortunio mention if this bandit chief is a woman? Or if it is a man, does he have a daughter?”

Runde tells you that although Fortunio liberally refers to this newcomer as ‘bitch’ in the letter, he is uncertain whether it refers to the bandit’s sex. No offspring are mentioned.

Guess what's going to happen with Rin around (Skill: Unintended Waifu Massacre EX). :M

Didn't we send Arlin&Aria exactly for that? To inform/remind the princess of what she needs to do to stop being a walking disaster?

Also, she does not seem to be the discriminating type, unless the Barzamite commander counted as a waifu.

Rin is an equal opportunity employer: that is, she kills everybody equally, regardless of gender and race. Children MIGHT be spared, but I'm not entirely sure about that.

Regarding Arlin, he's clearly the shota/cute boy element that all harem animes have. As such, he has the incredible ability to gather the interest of nearly every female nearby.

However, that is not to say he's innocent: last time we checked, he was maintaining "diplomatic meetings" with a female goblin.
:M
I wonder if he'll continue doing so in the future.

Right. I forgot he is our stealth-boy. He just slips under our radar as a rival, avoiding the fate that befalls any other man.

So, Erdrick kills men en masse, while Rin does the same to women. Just more proof that we were meant for each other.

Edit: but we are called a 'petty asshole', while she is a 'pwetty pwincess'. I smell a bias!!

Maybe Erdrick will be able to "get it on" with Rin? Maybe it's a question of race? He should test this out. So far humans and half-elves does nothing for him. Might be a demon could.

It is not a matter of race, but of plot advancement. How else would you motivate a character like us to get his ass up?

Therefore, I assume that a solution is out of our reach, but a promise of one will always wait right around the corner, close enough to make us jump through hoops in hopes of grasping it.

I am supportive of any testing attempts, though. For science and all. Really, Erdrick shouldn't have been too quick to reject Zayan's offer. Ah, maybe he needs to grow a bit more desperate.

Still think we will have to see an angel for that, but maybe we will... on the battlefield. :M

Just looking at her does nothing as with all the others, so he would have to escalate and attempt physical contact. It would be quite dangerous. For the surrounding landscape and its inhabitants, at least.

So her cunning plan to cut all our ties to human factions and locking us with non-humans only is proceeding flawlessly.
I am sure that if we don't guard our blindguest properly something is bound to happen.

Zayan will chunk Rin into a thousand daemonettes.

Never get on a bad side of a mad scientist. Doubly so if she is a frustrated woman with limited access to penile samples and magnatite.

The fact that she gets along with the twins is proof that they have demon blood.
Quite strange that she can kill everyone so clumsily yet can spar with the kids without even scratching them.

That's probably because she doesn't spar with them. I don't remember her being responsible for training either of the kids. And I think we even promised Aria to be her personal coach.

Besides, Arlin is perma-invisible and young girls get +20 to their saving rolls in our presence. :M

I think the reason the twins are unique lies elsewhere. There is plenty of reasons to be special even if you are a pure-blooded human.
